Dehradun Zoo is feeling happy to share the good deeds of zoo staff. Today, Mr. Ram Lakhan, UPNL employee of Dehradun zoo found a lost ladies purse in the lawn and honestly deposited in the zoo office. The purse was returned to its owner. She was very happy to receive it back with all her belongings including Rs. 4,550.00 and thankful to the zoo staff.

On the 6th day of Wildlife Week -2023, Dt. 06.10.2023, Dehradun Zoo is feeling happy to share the glimpses of adoption of Red & Green Macaw by “KASTURI” an Association of IFS Officers Wives and Lady Officer, in the benign presence of Mrs. Neena Grewal, Mrs. Shivani Pattnaik, Mrs. Anita Singhal, Mrs. Snigdha Patro, Mrs. Geeta Singh and Mrs. Sneha Singh. Mr. Mohan Singh Rawat, F.R.O., Dehradun Zoo on behalf of Mr. Nitish Mani Tripathi, Director, Dehradun Zoo received a cheque of amount Rs. 20,000/- from “KASTURI” for the adoption of Red & Green Macaw. “KASTURI” has been paying for this noble cause (adoption) since last three years. We appreciate the efforts of “KASTURI”. Your symbolic adoption supports the zoo animals’ welfare, housing & enrichment. It was returned by Mrs. Anita Devi, Forest Guard to its owner Mrs. Reena, a resident of Shrirampuram, colony, Govind garh, Kaunli road, Dehradun. She was very happy to get it back with all her belongings. She was thankful to the zoo staff.
