The first Pony Club began with an organization that was formed in Great Britain in 1929. It was formed to encourage children to start riding. The group grew rapidly, from 300 members in 1930, to over 10,000 in 1935.
The success of Pony Club in Britain sparked the formation of Pony Clubs in other nations, such that there are now over 100,000 Pony Club members worldwide.
Each Pony Club has the ability to define its own structure.
Children’s Pony Club, BRF
Our purpose is to be a nurturing space for children to develop by forming a deep connection with nature, horses, other beings, & themselves.
For us, at BRF, Children’s Pony Club aims not only to introduce children to horses & horsemanship, but also to develop in them an appreciation for the interconnectedness of life across all beings & elements in nature.
We will have a series of six Children’s Pony Club weekends spread across a period of 3 months.
These sessions will build on each other to develop in children an understanding of:
Horses & Horsemanship
Compassion, Courage, Team Work, & Initiative
Interconnectedness of all beings & elements
The sessions will have engaging, experiential activities, like:
Interacting & learning about our ponies & other two & four-legged stable friends
Leading small teams in various group tasks
Leading the ponies
Riding on the ponies
Option to be a certified Pony Expert!
While the sessions will build on each other, each session is designed to be wholesome in itself.
Who can join the Club?
Our sessions are designed to foster experiential & playful learning. Children of all ages & horsemanship stages are welcome. These sessions are also suitable for special needs children. No prior experience with horses or ponies is required.

Weekend 1: July 6, 7 (Fri, Sat)
Weekend 2: July 20, 21 (Fri, Sat)
Weekend 3: August 10, 11 (Fri, Sat)
Weekend 4: August 31, September 1 (Fri, Sat)
Weekend 5: September 14, 15 (Fri, Sat)
Weekend 6: September 28, 29 (Fri, Sat)
Timings:
Friday Evenings: 5 PM – 6:30 PM
Saturday Mornings: 7 AM – 8:30 AM
@ Rs.3000/- per child per weekend (inclusive of both Fri & Sat)
*You may also choose to pay for all 6 weekends together @ Rs.15000/- per child.
What to Wear: Close-toed shoes, full length stretchable pants, fitted t-shirt.
Please do not wear any jewelry or anything that may get stuck in the horse’s tack.
You may carry a cap if you so wish.
Helmets are available at the facility.
What to Carry: Lots of water to quench your thirst!

All classes to be paid for in cash or by check or bank transfer before the class/initiation of the package (please get in touch with us for details of making payment)
PLEASE NOTE: All activities require pre-booking. Please ensure you wear proper shoes (no open sandals, long trousers/leggings); carry drinking water and a small snack. The do's and dont's of the stable need to be complied with to ensure the well being of our horses and animals and the safety of your children.
HOW TO GET THERE?
We are located in Farm No. 5A, Osho Drive, Mandi Road, Gadaipur, Sultanpur, New Delhi - 110030.
From the main Mehrauli-Gurgaon Road (500 mtrs from the Chattarpur Metro station) turn into Mandi Road.
Continue straight, for about 1.5-2 km. You will come to a turning to the right called Osho Drive.
Turn on to Osho Drive. Continue straight on the road for about 600 mtrs, to the end of the road (where it turns right). Just before you hit the end of the road, you will see a white gate on your right with Farm No. 5A written on it.
Walk into the gate, we will be looking forward to meet you and your child/children.
