The bitter fact about exotic pet species is, when they escape or their owner abandon them, they don’t know how to survive, today we rescued this African grey parrot from village named “Viorl”, was taken care preciously by mr thakore from sundarana and wanted to handed over to us as he admits that having no serial knowledge about the species and their required legal documentation’s and formalities he is giving us this bird cause he was given this bird by some old known uncle who died in corona, this is humble disclaimer of taking parenting responsibilities for rescued parrot, we believe that it will sooner be okay and back to its own nature… and may be it would communicate with all super soon after getting well versed in routine of farm… and mainly its own health…

Thank you Petlad Police for all follow up to to make a reach to us for release if in our farm as a part of rescue…

It’s always advices that if you want your kid to be fear free, allow them to know animals and birds, let them communicate fearlessly, so when you are taking them to bird watch or animal century or any pet farm or a mini zoo understand that you are the greatest positive cause and boost to bring next generation near to nature …

At Dhunn- The Petting Farm, our animals are ”caged”. Not because freedom isn’t valued here, but because that is what freedom means to them. Those animals have grown up in a confined environment, and do not know how to survive in the wild. To them, freedom is being able to eat, without hunting for it, and having a permanent place to stay at. To the people outside, it may seem as if our animals and birds are always caged, but in reality, they are not “caged”, they live in a cage. Every aspect of their habitat is put into consideration, from temperatures to the food they eat, everything is controlled according to their biological and social needs. Animals who have always stayed in a confined environment, can thrive only in a confined environment. Keeping that in mind, one of the major reasons we only entertain guests who book their appointments in advance, is to keep our animals socially healthy. Unannounced guests means an increased number of people on site, which would make our animals anxious, which disturbs their appetite. A disturbed appetite leads to a very depressed behavior, which we do not want at our petting farm, because we respect their freedom. We also would not attend unannounced guests even if our farm was free at the time of arrival as that would lead to future expectations of making such exceptions. A very happy Independence Day to all and we wish for everyone to understand our reasons for a strict protocol for maintaining the animals’ independence too!

Having goal for today’s attraction will definitely turn into the passion and will help achieve career goal to at-least few from this big of a crowd. We are going ahead to the first step, that is school students visits, a complete non commercial educational conduct. These pictures are from the first school slot to visit us and the students left with a wonderful experience. There were a total of 200+ visitors with a proper goal, and our task was to provide proper detailed knowledge about the species we have, fearless sessions to communicate and show Human-Animal relationship, how we can help conserve them, have courage and love towards nature and livelihoods.

Students in mentorship of our staff with coordination to teachers, went back home, definitely with dream in their eyes to come back soon and know more and we are sure of that! We thank our promoters for their VANBHOJAN arrangements. Today two tasks from Government advisory guidelines are completed out of the 10 bagless days of education and field trip - filed trip to see exotic pets about 350+ live species, vanbhojan and looking at all green surroundings full of trees and plants consist of fruits and vegetables.

Today was really a pleasant and prestigious day for our vision, with the purpose to celebrate environmental week, there was a training session at VN Highschool Dharmaj for Anand District- Government School’s Environmental Teachers staff and our Dhunn - The Petting Farm was one subeject to know and understand live species nearly, and all teachers visited us as part of their training and all enjoyed playing with our pets as well as they were given detailed knowledge about all the species we have about it’s nature, nutrition, and other needs and habits.
We are satisfied that we have wonderful staff for such good treatments for our 𝗣𝗲𝘁𝘀 as well as we are proud that we really have people to work for us who understands our pets emotional needs and they are the mediators to our pets and visitors, well done team you guys did a wonderful job.
