With a mind weighed down by depression.
May the blind see forms
And the deaf hear sounds.
May those whose bodies are worn with toil Be restored on finding repose.
May the naked find clothing The hungry find food;
May the thirsty find water And delicious drinks.
May the poor find wealth,

This dog is missing from the Heeru-lower Bhagsu area. My dog RUSTY, a four years old male. He is an orange and white colour, and was wearing blue neck band with ghungroo.

We offer *10,000 rs cash* for finding Rusty.

He had a habit of running from my McLeod place to Bhagsu taxi stand to be with his dog buddies there.

Last week he did not turn up in Bhagsu as usual.

We believe he is somewhere in the Heeru-Amdo- Bhagsu area, possibly staying with a local person.

Please publicise to all friends in WhatsApp groups, Hindi language groups, etc, especially in the Bhagsu Heeru Amdo Dushalini area.

⚠️Distress signal received this week from Bhagsu area- a foreign visitor noticed the neighbours keeping a very young female 🐕 (about 1 year) continually on a very very short chain (seen in photo 1), with little water & NO freedom (almost no walking time and so forth), even some stick beating (photo 4). 😔

::❓People all over India witness this situation and don't know what to do.

:: this lady took help of Hindi speaking neighbours, who discovered the man is worried about the dog getting pregnant, & in fact has already made a firm appointment w/a local NGO to have her spayed & vaccinated 💉15 October.
Hooray! 🎉 So we have all lucked out.
We will be watching for updates.

More often, it is not so easy to resolve such things.

::🐾My advice to outsiders in any community who see such abuse:

🐾always watch and make sure it's a pattern.
🐾Take advice from friendly neighbours with whom you can communicate well, who may offer to approach the local person
🐾Never get defensive or angry
🐾contact local animal NGOs and see what they advise.
