Rider Focus

Nammeir Ahmed is a two time recipient of the General O.P. Malhotra Award for the Best Rider in the Assam State Equestrian Championships. A passionate equestrian, Nammeir started riding early in his school days aged only 9. He says his motivation behind taking up equestrian sports were his love for animals and his admiration for a horse's prowess!

His partnership with his thoroughbred Seabiscuit is well recognised as a formidable pair. A retired racehorse, Seabiscuit is an outcome of the FEI Solidarity award winning Retraining of Racehorses Programme. Having won multiple laurels, the pair are now preparing to defend their title in the upcoming State Championships.

"I love the bond that I share with the equine and the daily excitement of new adventures. It’s a sport that I can never get enough of as I’m constantly learning for the horse", says Nammeir Ahmed.
