UPDATE ON THE ABANDONED DOG ‼️

We rescued the abandoned Dog yesterday and is under foster care of our member Sakshi. We took him to the vet and started with his course of treatment. He is suffering from severe rickets. 2 portions of both his front legs are twisted which is making it difficult for us to put a bandage or wrap it with a stick on. For now we shall be giving him oral medicines and his future course of treatment will depend on his response to the treatment.

ABOUT THE DOG 🐕
He looks like a beagle cross. He loves human company, eats well, p**p trained, friendly with other dogs too, one of the most gentle dogs we have ever come across given the fact that he is also suffering from separation anxiety. We are therefore focusing on his well being first.

IF ANYONE IS AWARE OF ANYONE WHO WILL BE WILLING TO GIFT HIM A LOVING HOME, KINDLY LET US KNOW. 🙏

P.S. for leaving him in this condition and turning their backs on him, we pray the owners get a taste of their own medicine and KARMA hit them hard 😡

We got a call this morning regarding this dog who was abandoned and tied to the tree. The informer suspected that he had been in the rain the entire time. The dog didn't move an inch until our rescuer rescued it and shifted to a safer place.

It is a breed dog with Rickets. Rickets is a condition which weakens the bone. We are looking for a FOSTER to keep the dog and start with his treatment. 🙏

We got information from Miss Amrita sonowal regarding the dog 🐶 suffering from some nasal problem, as a result it gets difficult for him to inhale.

After a few days of oral course , we took him to vet today for further treatment, as a result chemotherapy course 💉 has been started & today he took first dose of chemo, this course will continue for 4 consecutive weeks.

Let's pray for his recovery 🙏✨

We got a call for a dog being injured due to some inhumane activity. The are open wounds are clearly seen & it's difficult to see the poor soul suffering.

Our members came forward & took him to vet for treatment. Treatment has been started & we hope that he recovers soon 🙏🙌

We got information for a dog 🐶 suffering from some Nasal problem as a result of which there is swelling his Nasal.

Our members took him to vet for treatment & per vet it's some kind of nasal infection. So medication has been started from today. Let's pray for his recovery 🙌🙏

These 4 kittens along with their mother were abandoned yesterday in front of the informer's house. 🐈😺

The informer has given them shelter for the moment but he cannot keep them for longer because he has dogs at his home who are not friendly when it comes to cat. He's having a hard time managing them.

We are looking for someone to come forward and help us in giving them a temporary shelter or even better if we get responsible adopters for them.

‼️‼️Update on Cherrie‼️‼️

On the 14th, Blood Transfusion was done on Cherrie who lost his appetite and is diagnosed with Anemia. Our member Gayatri's pet Lee donated 25 ml of Blood and post the Blood Transfusion, Cherrie's veins turned a little transparent. If not much, he is atleast lifting his head up and moving short distances.

Today we completed his 5th day of antibiotics course and have also administered steroid. We shall do another Blood Transfusion is required in the coming days. His treatment is to be continued, once he feels better and starts to eat, there is hope. But, again, hopes are thin.

We shall do whatever it takes from our end as long as he is willing to fight. Please keep him in your prayers. 🙏🐾

He has already survived a fatal accident and outdid himself in the recovery journey from his surgery. We are hopeful he will fight back this time too. 🙏

Update on Cherrie ‼️🐕

As we shared a couple of days ago that Cherrie stopped eating food. We have been taking him to the vet regularly for IV drips and vitamin shots. He is diagnosed with Anemia. 😐

When he underwent surgery (leg amputation and hip stitches) he was already anemic and lost a lot of blood which made his chances of survival very thin.

However, after utmost foster care he started doing well, gaining his strength and miraculously survived 5 months post surgery. We are disheartened to see him doing bad these days.

Vet has suggested Blood Transfusion. And it will be done in a day. One of our members Gayatri is willing to let her pet Lee donate the blood required for Cherrie.

For now do pray that he recovers. We are not going to give up on CHERRIE. 💗

We shall keep you posted. 😇

We got information about a puppy from Milan nagar, who had accident and his leg was crushed as a result. The incident was very much painful to witness such a small pup suffering in pain .

As a result we looked the treatments & medications and we also thank to Miss Deepshika from Milan nagar for taking care of the innocent soul ✨🐶

Few days ago due extreme heat the animals also suffered. As a result this dog from .university most probably suffered a heatstroke, leaving her left side unresponsive and paralyzed. She's also having a uterus infection. There was also a hint of anaemia too . However treatment has been started & will be continued until she recovers fully . She's been prescribed medicines and we're going to start the course from tomorrow onwards.

We also thank to Miss puja, Aftara & their friends for taking care 🙌✨

We got a call from Mr saurav of Basbari regarding a dog who had accident and was unable to lift her lower body. We immediately provided the onsite treatment and then took to vet for further treatment.

According to the doctor it will take time for recovery and so treatment will be continued for a week.

We got a call from Mr Gautam of KIA showroom who was out for his official work & witnessed a small puppy crying in the roadside due to pain after having accident.

Eventually we told them to take the puppy to our vet without wasting any time , so he did accordingly and the puppy is doing better now & recovering.

We also thank to each & every staff of KIA showroom for fostering the pup 🐶💗

Mr. Mintu Changkakoti and family of Roxy sponsored a food drive 🥘🍛 for the street furries 🐕 for their dearest Roxy, a true companion and love of their lives who left for her heavenly abode to run across the rainbow bridges.

Roxy was aging and she fought bravely of what comes with ageing. She had a wonderful life with her family around and we hope and pray she rests well and at ease. ✨️🧡

We covered the locations of Khalihamari, VKV road, Chowkidinghee, Zig Zag Road Railway Colony, Chiring Chapori, Amolapatty Thana Gali-Dowerahchuk and Gandhi Nagar and fed around 70+ doggos. It gave us immense joy to organize this service in memory of Roxy and we pray for her soul to rest in eternal peace and we also thank Mr. Changkakoti and family for choosing to remember her this way. 🐾😇✨️

Update : TIKLI'S adoption was confirmed, the adopter even visited her and promised to adopt her but the adopter's father ditched in the last moment saying they cannot keep a female at any cost. This Golden Labrador was abandoned near Sripuria area, Tinsukia. He is in a pathetic condition, only skin and bones, dehydrated and left to die.

Ashiyana for Animals have rescued it for now and shifted to a safe place and are looking after it's treatment.

HOWEVER, THEY JUST NEED SOMEONE TO COME FORWARD AND PROVIDE A SHELTER TO THE BABY. FOSTER CHARGES AND TREATMENT EXPENSES WILL BE COVERED BY THE NGO.

The Lab is already experiencing separation anxiety with dreaded health conditions, all the baby needs right now is someone to provide love , care and attention.

Rescue Update ‼️🐕

This doggo is diagnosed with Ascites. A condition in which fluids get collected in the abdomen resulting in a bloated belly and under belly. This could happen for a multiple reason from heart issue to liver or haemorrhage, trauma or pyometra. Treatment has been started💉💊

We were informed by a DU scholar Akankhya Bordoloi who also took the responsibility to aid the doggo to the vet. We are thankful to her for taking the step although it wasn't easy because the doggo kept trying to escape and she was a heavy one.

A whole lot of fluid was drained out and it is to be repeated after 10 days. It can be cancerous too. We will only know by observing it's recovery.

The doggo resides in the International Hostel, DU campus. If you happen to pass by the furry, do stop and pet the baby! She needs to be healthy during the entire process.

Update on CHERRIE 🐾🐕💕 We are super sure you remember our sugar candy Mr. Cherrie. Just a little update on his present condition. He's doing much better, healing, accepting his body, living and loving...💕 3 months under foster, from a complete street dog to being confined in a home with few faces unfamiliar turned to familiar and regular. He's adjusted so much and has co operated above and beyond. We're thrilled to see him do so well. He was highly anemic and after 2 surgeries chances of him collapsing of low blood pressure and iron deficiency was on the high. But by God's grace, he has only progressed. Keep him in your prayers. 💕🐕

#BHOLU 's update ‼️🐾🐕 Maggots infestation as you can see, we have removed the maggots and continued with the second day of treatment. Dressing is done too. Looks a bit better than yesterday. Will keep you updated.

Update : we do not feed her only biscuits. This live is only a 5 minutes of her 1 and a half months journey of ups and downs with us. She stopped eating the last few days as mentioned and it is only since yesterday night that she is munching on atleast something. A complete balanced diet is being followed for her as she is also under medication. Thank you all for your suggestions, however, we would like to let you know kindly do not judge on what we feed her on the basis of just a 5 minutes video. You can follow our earlier posts to keep a track of her treatment's history and how WELL FED she is. Because it is fine when suggested but if one questions our intent it is actually questioning the unwavering and tireless efforts of Pranali Gogoi Phukan who visits her every morning without a miss and cleans her, bathes her and provides Lunch for her since day 1 of foster and Barasha Baruah who has provided her the foster space and also takes care of her dinner. Let us be humble and appreciate all the efforts one has been putting to see her do good, do better. 🙏 Kukuli's update... She is not keeping well since the last 10-12 days... her improvements have taken a pause and her health seems to be deteriorating. She is in need of your prayers. Everything best is being done for her... please PRAY FOR OUR KUKULI 🙏‼️
