National Safety Week

At Zenex Animal Health the safety of employees is of utmost importance. The organization proactively ensures that the stringent safety policies are rigorously implemented and followed at all levels. Time and again, the Company initiates various activities to spread awareness and inculcates the practice to follow safety protocols which is the way of life at Zenex Animal Health.

53rd National Safety Week was one such occasion, which the Company celebrated at its Baddi and Haridwar manufacturing plants, imbibing the significance of safety amongst Zenexites. During the Safety Week, from 4 till 10 March, 2024, safety pledge, safety training sessions, workshops, demonstrations, drills and informational campaign were organized at both the locations. Activities like safety poster contest, safety slogan contest and safety quiz saw participation from many employees.

Ayurvet Limited, the wholly owned subsidiary of Zenex Animal Health, consistently endeavours in novel research discoveries in the field of medicinal plants and herbal formulations for veterinary health.

Recently, its R&D team has published its research “Preparation and Evaluation of Conessine Enriched Extract from Holarrhena antidysenterica bark for Enhanced Antibacterial Properties” in peer reviewed journal “International Research Journal of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences.”

Zenex Animal Health continues with its commitment towards research & development for bringing forth newer solutions for animal care.

It was a well-deserved opportunity for Zenex Animal Health to present its research work at the prestigious WVPA forum.

The World Veterinary Poultry Association (WVPA – India) and ICAR – National Institute of Animal Nutrition and Physiology (NIANP), Bengaluru had jointly hosted the WVPA (India) Conference 2024 on ‘Avian Health: Challenges and Opportunities’, recently, at the ICAR-NIANP, Bengaluru.

During the conference, Dr Susim Mukul Ray, Head – Technical & Promotion (Poultry) and Dr Muthukumar S, Sr Technical Manager from Zenex Animal Health had presented a research poster on "A Field Study Evaluating Timing of Replication of Vaccine Virus Post Day-Of-Hatch Application of Live Infectious Bursal Disease Virus Vaccine Compared To Immune Complex Vaccine in Commercial Broiler Chickens".

In addition, Dr Susim Mukul Ray as a lead speaker delivered talk on ‘Need of strain characterisation of probiotics for poultry’. During his talk, Dr Ray had evoked insights on safety and performance issues with incomplete or uncharacterised probiotic solutions used in poultry healthcare space.

Former Hon'ble V.P. of India, Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu ji and Joint Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare, GoI, Dr. O.P. Chaudhary ji were invited as Chief Guests for the conference.
