While it started as a project under Kannan Foundation, as of 2020 it is now a non-profit company formed under Section 8. At KAW, our primary focus is to rescue extremely critical cases, those that have been turned away either due to the nature of the medical procedure required or the cost involved. Most of these cases are pushed for euthanasia, but we do not believe in giving up- if a dog has the will to fight and survive, we will ensure it gets the treatment needed to support that.

As a shelter dedicated to rescuing animals in critical condition, we understand that a nutritious and balanced diet is the first step toward recovery. Pedigree pouches serve as an essential snack between meals, especially for our young furbabies.
