I am Portia, born 2 Jan 21, female GSD. I was living at home with my family but my brothers moved and they couldn't keep me alone in the house.

I used to be chained in a room or left on terrace, with no toy or bed. My owner was about to surrender me to a breeder so am now at a foster, looking for a forever home.

I have been undergoing training and socialising and learned a lot from loving and knowledgeable trainers who taught me basic commands such as sit, down etc.

I know how to walk on a leash, love playing with balls and tug. I would need a family that has time to play.

I am fully vaccinated and dewormed. I am not yet sterilised.

I have strong herding genes so homes without other dogs and small children are the best.

My ideal space would be with adults who love and understand GSDs.

"Bhala kisi ka kar na sako to bura kisi ka mat karna"

Today's real life story is about our latest rescue "Moksh the Siberian husky", Abandoned in the ridge forest by some pathetic human owners.
When we got news we sent our pickup taxi last month.
A person stopped the rescue giving illogical arguments that we should rescue all the five hundred strays there and then this, we tried reasoning , we tried explaining Huskies cannot be compared to Indies , they can't survive,but the locals there stopped us including a so called ridge forest officer.
Our rescue failed the taxi returned empty

As we feared we got a call from the same guys, the husky had lost an eye in dog fight and was seriously injured. Though they asked for forgiveness for their act, but the damage was done , one eye was lost along with serious injuries, now he has limited chance of adopted. He is now in our custody with vet visit for tomorrow on whatever best can be done.

If you cannot do good , don't stop others from doing good

Your ignorance and stupidity can take away lives and then their is only regret

Misfortune strikes ones only, in case of animals our attempt is always to avert it with our best efforts.

These lil cuties are up for adoption.
History - These pups were abandoned in some park in Janakpuri, packed in a carton. A kind hearted hooman rescued them and secured them. Now they are under our care at Home For Wings and Tails Foundation. If you wish to adopt any of them, contact at 9999871165.
