Tropica Aquarium Soil

Aquarium Soil is used for planning a new aquarium. It is a complete bottom layer, which can be used without any other types of bottom layer. The grain size of 2-3 mm makes it easy for planting, and tropica aquarium soil ensures proper growth and stimulates red colours.

Aquarium Soil is further an active bottom layer that lowers the pH value and slightly affects the water chemistry.
We recommend that you change 25-50% of the water min. twice a week during the first 4 weeks after establishing the aquarium.

Tropica Aquarium Powder Soil

Aquarium Soil Powder is used when planning a new aquarium. The fine-grained active bottom layer is especially suitable for front plants. Aquarium Soil Powder is a complete active bottom layer, which can be used without any other types of bottom layer. The attractive grain size makes it suitable for foreground plants.

Aquarium Soil Powder is further an active bottom layer that lowers the pH value and slightly affects the water chemistry. We recommend that you change 25-50% of the water min. twice a week during the first 4 weeks after establishing the aquarium.

How do I calculate the quantity of Soil or Soil Powder needed for my tank?
- Measure your tank’s length and width in cm, for example 90 x 60 cm.
- Consider the thickness of the bottom layer you want, e.g. 8 cm.
- Make the layer thicker towards the rear wall for a great visual effect!
- The calculation to do is length x width x layer divided by 1000.
- In our example, 90 x 60 x 5/1000 = 43,2 L Soil/Soil Powder needed.

Panda Oranda Gold Fish 🐼

Called the "Flower of the Water" in China, the Oranda is one of the most popular types of goldfish. Orandas are round, deep-bodied goldfish, with its most noticeable feature being the large, puffy growth on top of its head. This growth gets larger as the fish ages, sometimes covering their eyes. They also tend to have long, flowing fins. The Panda Oranda is a special color variation with dark markings on a white body.

The Calico Bristlenose Pleco (Ancistrus sp.), also known as the Bushynose or Bushymouth Pleco, is a member of the Loricariidae family of South American suckermouth catfishes. Its facial area becomes adorned with many bristle-like appendages beginning in sub-adulthood. Both sexes grow the appendages, but the growth and length is much more pronounced in males.

A generally peaceful and hardy species, the Calico Bristlenose Pleco is an excellent, undemanding Candidate for most of the Aquarium.
The Calico Bristlenose Pleco grows to a size of only 4 to 5.9 inches (10 to 15 cm). This smaller size makes for a much more manageable (and less messy) pleco that can thrive permanently in a well-maintained aquarium as small as 30 to 40 gallons. Male plecos may be somewhat territorial with other males of their species, but disputes can usually be diffused by providing ample territory and hiding places for each fish. All other tankmates will be generally ignored, although it is possible that small shrimp fry might fall prey to the Calico Bristlenose Pleco.

Teraa Dewormer is an effective dewormer for ornamental fishes. It treats internal parasite like roundworms, roundworms,hookworms nematodes. Your fish will appear healthier, colours will be enhanced along with improved growth.
It doesnt affect the biofilter, invertebrates.

Dosage -
Mixing with feed :1 drop for 10mg feed. 1000mg or 1gm feed mix 100 drop. 1 drop =1/20ml. 20 drop =1ml.
Dosing in water : Day 1 - 0.1ml/liter. Day 2 – 50% water change.
Day 15 repeat same like Day 1 and follow with 50% water change. If no new fish is introduced repeat this after 180 days.
For new fishes ideally treat them in a hospital tank

Carnivore Cichlids primary diet is made up of animal protein be it small fishes, insects, invertebrate or in some cases rodents too. Animal protein is a major part of their diet, whereas plant protein is a very minor part.
When selecting their diet this should be kept in mind. A diet made of animal protein would ensure better digestion, agility and coloration.

Most of the tetra, barbs, rainbows, danios etc prefer an omnivorous diet. There can be some species which doesn’t fall into this generalized category, so for them beforehand research is needed.

Omnivorous diet is where there is a mix of animal protein and plant protein. In the nature they eat a mix of both hence the categorization. Most of the species have a smaller mouth so its important for them to have a smaller size pellet for ease in acceptance. A balanced diet improves their digestion, coloration and agility.
