Description
Star Mite has a unique mode of action that is highly effective against a wide range of plant-damaging mites and leaf miners. The unique mode of action means that Star Mite is also well suited for resistance management programs. Star Mite can also be used as a repellent for soft-bodied flying insects such as Aphids, Jassids, Leaf Hoppers, white flies and thrips. However the main use is for control of Mites and Leaf miners.
Star Mite can be used on the following: Brassica Vegetables, Bulb Vegetables, Cereal Grains, Citrus, Cotton, Cucurbit Crops, Forage Crops, Fruiting Vegetables, Kiwi, Leafy Vegetables, Legume Vegetables, Nut Trees, Ornamentals, Peanuts, Pome Fruit Trees, Root and Tuber Vegetables, Small Fruits and Berries, and Stone Fruit Trees.
Star Mite is formulated to provide maximum leaf uptake for longer residual control. The product is rainfast, formulated for easy application with standard equipment, and leaves no unsightly residue on plants. Star Mite acts by interfering with the nervous system of the insect. This nervous system effect causes the insect to become paralyzed.

Dilution and Method of Application:
(1:1000) Star Mite must be diluted @ 250 ml / 200 Ltrs of water. i.e. 1 to 1.5 ml /Ltr of water. Apply as a fine mist until foliage is wet - For best results, apply when the plant is cool - Do not apply immediately before or after rainfall or sprinkler irrigation or when the plant is under stress. A biodegradable surfactant Neem Spread may be used to optimize dispersal and leaf adherence. Repeat application every 7 to 14 days as needed. For vegetables, spray several days before blooming. Do not apply during or preceding pollination.

Eugenol, Eugenyl Acetate, Caryophyllene (Derived from Syzygium aromaticum), Pongamia Glabra.
All constituents are Herbal Extracts and therefore exempt from registration.
Note: All active constituents are exempt from registration under CIB or FCO. Percentages of active constituents are subject to change or vary depending upon the storage conditions and exposure to heat or sunlight.
Registration Details: Exempt from Reg under Cr No: 16-23/98-CIR-II Dated: 4-12-1998. Star Mite does not fall under the purview of Fertilizer control order, Schedule 1 or Central Insecticides Board.
American Registration Exempt
This product is exempt from registration with the Federal EPA under section 25 (b) of FIFRA. Star Mite has not been registered with the Environmental Protection Agency. ROOTS-Florentine Curtis Pvt Ltd, represents that this product qualifies for exemption from registration under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act.
Personal Protective Work Clothing:
Applicators and other handlers of this product must wear: Long sleeved shirt and pants, shoes and socks, protective eyewear and gloves.
Storage: Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage. Store in a cool dry place.
