For effective & enhanced performance of different cells of the institute, a computer centre for this purpose was established in 1989, with the help of Department of Electronics, Government of India. Every Polytechnic in the state has been equipped with computer lab. Thus Staff in the polytechnic needs training to use computer. Besides usage of computer as a tool for various job functions, it ca

n also be used as a powerful tool for education & learning media. The teachers as well as non teaching staff have to be trained in this field for maximum usage & application of computer at polytechnic level. This institute trains polytechnic teachers and other staff by arranging short term training programs. Centre is equipped with latest computers & their accessories. have been installed and training is being imparted to the faculty and other supporting staff of all the polytechnics of state. Computer center is used as a aid for instruction of media during conduction of other training programs of this institute. It is also used to impart training to the staff / faculty of other department such as Forest, Animal Husbandry and summer training to students of other institution.
