Pashupati Animal Welfare Society - PAWS

This is an NGO for Animal Welfare that is registered under W. B. Societies Registration Act 1961 to aid ailing street animals. Reg # S/2L/59418, 3 Aug 2016.

At Pashupati Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), we believe in the power of community. What began as a small WhatsApp group of animal lovers in July 2015, quickly grew into a professionally-managed NGO, thanks to the dedication and passion of our diverse members - from military and police officers, to researchers and engineers, and even college students. Named after Lord Shiva, the protector of all ani

mals, our mission is to pool funds from our members and the public to provide the best possible care for animals in need. In August 2016, we became a shelter ourselves due to the overwhelming number of cases we were seeing. Today, PAWS runs a successful ambulance service, with a vehicle donated by Mrs. Maneka Gandhi and designed by our team. We pride ourselves on being the first choice for animal lovers in Kolkata, known for our reliable and effective treatment. At PAWS, we understand that serving animals is not just about saving them, it's about saving humanity. Join us in our mission to make the world a better place for all creatures."

মধ্যমগ্রাম দোলতলা ও সংলগ্ন অঞ্চলে PAWS এর তরফ থেকে পথকুকুরদের ফিডিং জুলাই মাস থেকে সপ্তাহে ৩ দিন - মঙ্গল, বৃহস্পতি, ও শনি বারে করা হবে।
এতদিন আমরা সপ্তাহে ২ দিন করে ফিডিং করছিলাম, কিন্তু বুঝতে পারছিলাম সেটা পর্যাপ্ত নয়।
তাই কোনো বাড়তি ফান্ডিং ছাড়াই নিজেদের টাকা দিয়ে সপ্তাহে ৩ দিন করে খাওয়ানোর সিদ্ধান্ত নিলাম।
দয়া করে এই কর্মকাণ্ডে আমাদের পাশে দাঁড়ান, যে কোনো UPI app থেকে আপনার অনুদান পাঠান 6290712068 নম্বরে। ক্ষুদ্র থেকে ক্ষুদ্রতর দানও তুচ্ছ নয়।

Feeding of street dogs in and around Madhyamgram Doltala area, sponsored by Pashupati Animal Welfare Society - PAWS shall be done thrice weekly from July onwards - on Tuesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays.
Till now, we were feeding them twice weekly, but realized that it is not sufficient for their minimum sustenance.
So without any additional/external funding, we took the plunge to increase the number of feeding days to 3 days a week.
