Happy birthday to this happy baby!

Reaching out to our patrons to please come forward with whatever amount you may be able to contribute for this baby's treatment 🙏🏻
Here's an update we're thrilled to share with our Facebook family : this bubbaloo came to us 5 months ago, much the worse for wear. Look at his happy healthy pink snout now...
He's still got a little while to go before he can return to his neighborhood, but now only wishing good things for our young friend.
Dear Ashari family : it isn't how much you transfer - it's how many of you come forward.
And how consistently you contribute.
Together, the amount of suffering we can alleviate is incalculable and the difference you can make is immense.
Bank details in the post.

Prema makes sure her beloved mother's memory is always kept alive with every act of service where she spreads love and kindness.
Her mother's shradh was on 26.05.24 - and she sponsored the day's meal at Ashari on Monday in her mother's name.
We look to our donors for assistance with the post-operative care and stay for this gentle girl from Lilhah.
PATRONS PLEASE NOTE THE NUMBERS & TIMINGS FOR RESCUE CALLS + UPDATES ON YOUR ANIMALS IN OUR CARE.

An NGO with no guarantee of where it's next month's funding is coming from, but a responsibility to over 1,000 sick animals that depend on you for their survival is a scary place to work at.

This baby was brought to us with pe**le cancer.
After treatment and recovery - he has been dispatched and is now back in his neighborhood with his other doggie friends and local caregivers 🐶❤
Appealing to our patrons to please come forward with a contribution, no matter how small - for the treatment of this eye case.
Most of our cases at Ashari are the result of hit & runs - we aim to show the animals in pain that humans are capable of kindness too. 🙏🏻❤🧿
Calcutta heat back with a bang
We're sweating it out, so are they!
Let's help cool our four legged friends off together 🐱🐮🐶

Sharing a recovery story with our Ashari family : the feeling of sending back a healed, happy animal when they came to us, broken, in pain and scared is unparalleled.
It's these joys that make every suffering worthwhile for us.

Slow and steady - when dealing with cancers, the process takes as long as it will, the trick is to catch warning signs in time, as Ms. Roy did - and keep your doggy's morale up through the treatment process.
Come, visit these babies.
They may look less than glamorous but they'll steal your hearts with their capacity to love 🥰
A painful case came in to Ashari where this dog has suffered an unnecessary and unfair amount.
While immediate treatment has begun for this baby - a word to all our patrons : if you ever see an animal with an open wound - this is RIFE ground for maggot infestation and can EASILY be prevented with timely topical treatment.
* Take a video of the animal in distress.
* Procure the number of a local caregiver or chai wallah / vendor who can coordinate a pick up with the NGO you reach out to with the information.
Timely intervention prevents untold suffering.
We live for happy endings - Mrs. Dhar's joy at being reunited with her baby after 3 weeks of treatment can only be matched by the baby's waggy tail!
Finally - after what felt like days of sad updates - we have happy news to share.
The dog we'd rescued after she suffered a blunt blow and was found under a bus in Kyd street is on her way to recovery...
Once healed : she will be looking for a passive parent to support her stay for the rest of her days at Ashari 💌

We're hurt and angry. Some days feel like giving up is easier than dealing with a relentless wave of cruelty and suffering. But giving up helps nobody. If we're able to change even one animal's life, we're making a difference. This difference is possible only with your continued support. Please contribute towards our ongoing ABC projects and cruelty cases. QR code and bank details in our bio + please find it in yourself to make a donation - any amount goes a long way.
The only way to put an end to long term suffering is by pursuing our animal birth control project. In the short term, local caregivers can be more vigilant about vaccinating puppies. Awareness saves lives.
Wishing you a very happy birthday! May you receive in the same abundance with which you so selflessly give of yourself 🙏
