Hi lovely hoomans,

We would first like to thank each and every one of you for all your love. With the overwhelming support through the 2021 fundraisers, we were able to raise INR 1L+ which went towards feeding our furbabies (we were able to procure 620kgs of dog food🥳) and treating medical issues that cropped up during the year.

We are now launching our fundraiser for the year 2022 and are hoping for your continued support. The funds raised will go towards keeping our furbabies' tummies full. We have purchased two coats for the older dogs on campus and depending on how effective they are we are also planning to procure coats for the other doggos on campus for the upcoming winter(Lucknow winters are no joke🥶). The funds will also be used to supplement funds we receive through the college budget for vaccinations, sterilizations, reflective collars and medical emergencies.

Any of the following actions would go a long way towards helping us and our furbabies:

Hello lovely hoomans🌻

We started our ‘Fund a Furball’ campaign earlier last year to aid the well-being of our beloved campus doggos! Thanks to your support, over the months we’ve been able to feed them well and provide medical support whenever needed, along with regular vaccinations and sterilization drives. Titles: Ruler of the FPM block👸, Komolika of IIML(With Urmila, not everything is as it seems😂), Roti-Disapprover
Age: Those cute FPM pups are my grandkids, need I say more?
Hobbies: Protecting her territory at all costs, Demanding love from hoomans, Terrorising pups(How can they get more attention than me?🙄),Making sure the other doggos know who's boss😎

Urmila has seen the good, bad and ugly aspects of life. She's very territorial and unapologetic about it. She must have fought hard to earn the respect of the other FPM doggos and there's no way she will turn soft now(Ironical sidenote:She does have the softest coat on campus) 🙃 If you spot her don't even think about giving her Rotis, she'll sniff them and look at you in disbelief(She thinks she's too regal for Rotis😂). A good petting session(=attention) is what she's looking for!

Urmila embodies the 'Mai Tho Apni Favourite Hoon' attitude and being as unapologetic as Urmila is what we can only hope to be❤️

ADOPTION ALERT: We are looking for forever homes for two of our furbabies!

1. Champ🏆 (aka Floyd) : Male, Approximately 2 months old
He’s our survivor, from being stuck inside Ugly (Furball #1) and having to be surgically delivered to play-fighting with her now, Champ/Floyd has come a long way! He has now started developing his own personality. He loves the heater and nibbling on jeans!

2.Cookie 🍪 : Female,Approximately 3 months old
She is adventurous (everyone on campus can vouch for this),super smart & semi-potty trained. Refer to our previous post for a more detailed Cookie-Monster description!

Both our babies have a lot of love to give and they deserve a home where they will be loved and cared for! Give our babies a chance, they will light up your lives like they have been lighting up our’s! 🥰

Besides puppies, Betty is also scared of sudden movements so when you’re around her try being as slow as Oldie-Goldie(Furball #2)
Betty is harmless and like all our furballs, all she wants is love (In her case Love=Food )♥️

Yesterday, we successfully carried out our first quarterly vaccination drive for 44 dogs across campus.

The days are hot and the nights are lonely. But our hope for fresh water and food keeps us alive. Even though our favourite humans are nowhere to be found, some awesome sauce people feed us everyday. They tell us that some beautiful souls, who couldn’t take care of us physically, send their love every once in a while through food. We feel blessed to know that there are those who are always thinking of us in these trying times.
As the lockdown got extended, we request everyone to take care of those who can’t take care of themselves. And if possible, send some more love our way.
Our helpers keep track of every penny spent on us, and will promptly send you all the bills.

The lockdown is hard on animals but with your help we have been able to feed 40+ dogs in the campus for the past month. The pups and volunteers are thankful for all of the help we have received and are hoping to carry on the work so that when you come back you are welcomed with happy tummies and wagging tails.

Don’t forget to feed the strays near your house just like we are taking care of pups of IIM Lucknow!
You can get a feeder pass or carry around Menaka Gandhi’s circular or Animal Welfare Board’s notification if you encounter any problems. Stay safe and help others ❤️

Blessed be the hearts who decided to give us this exquisite faux leather super comfy couch. Cuddles, food and bed, that’s all we need folks. Corona took away the cuddles, the bed is still here and some amazing people paid for our food.

Filled bellies are the best!

We want to shake paws with every single beautiful soul out there who gave some much needed money to our caretakers.
They tell us that even though more is needed, we’ll have food for a few weeks!

“Dogs are not allowed to choose where they live. Their fate is decided by the people.”
We are under a lockdown so no tinder talk for today! The people and a few lucky pets will get through it but strays all around India shouldn’t become an unlikely casualty in this war against Corona Virus. The campus is devoid of people but not dogs, and we have a beautiful soul named Saumya with us who is feeding them daily but the food shortages are hitting us hard and we’d love it if people can contribute to make this time a little easier for the pups. It’s especially important as there are no other food sources in and around the campus.
It’ll be great if people could feed dogs in and around their localities as per the mandate of Animal Welfare Board and the request by Menaka Gandhi.
While all of us sit in our homes comfortably, let’s not forget the privilege in quarantine and share... it’s not about our individual likes and dislikes but humanity itself which is at stake.

Cause I love big balls and I cannot lie. All these doggy lovers can’t deny!

I got adopted a few weeks back and look at me now!
My mom and dad bought me 2 new sweaters and plenty of balls to play with. There’s always water and food in the bowl. They make sure that I am cosy and warm at night and happy in the mornings. Though the house is not as big as IIM Lucknow, but I love it because my humans are always 5 steps away.
Everywhere I go, humans give me belly rubs and treats. I do miss my ma and my siblings, but it’s hard to find faults with this dreamy life!

When you see dogs, you have to give them belly rubs.
And when you find a beautiful logo showcasing a happy dog in a rainbow world, you need to print it on your hoodies.
And when you find a bunch of people equally in love with dogs, you have to drag them and the dogs to the ground to create memories.

Over the past 2 months, the dogs within the IIML campus have received the anti rabies and the 9-in-1 vaccinations (against canine distempter, hepatitis, parvovirus etc).

This was made possible by the generosity of our donors and the kind heartedness of the many volunteers who have helped us carry these out.
