What is Luxury?

Luxury is not getting treatment from the most expensive hospital in USA.
Luxury is being healthy!

Luxury is not going on a cruise and eating food prepared by a renowned chef.
Luxury is eating fresh organic food grown in your own backyard!

Luxury is not having an elevator in your house.
Luxury is the ability to climb 3-4 stories of stairs without difficulty!

Luxury is not the ability to afford a huge refrigerator.
Luxury is the ability to eat freshly cooked food 2 times a day!

Luxury is not having a home theatre system and watching the Himalayan expedition. Luxury is physically experiencing the Himalayan expedition!

In the 60s a Car was a luxury.
In the 70s a Television was a luxury.
In the 80s a Telephone was a luxury.
In the 90s a Computer was a luxury...

So what is a Luxury now??
Being healthy, being happy, being in a happy marriage, having a loving family, being with loving friends , living in an unpolluted place.

All these things have become rare.
And these are the real "LUXURY".

Busting myths about organic right from cultivation of lands to germination of seeds to pesticides allowed to the final logistics to the consumer.

Our resource for the day is Ms Amrita Mangat , an organic farmer and founder of the My Family Farmer group in Ludhiana.

Summery of these two workshops is as below—
1– Each human has the capacity to heal its body provided we are mindful about our life style and food.
2–Treat food as a meditational experience.
3– Water plays an important and significant role in replenishing , healing our bodies .You can experiment on your water the way you want to structure it or have it 3 ltr a day if there is no medical condition and your doctor has advised you otherwise.
4– Brain is a ruler yet can be trained or Reconditioned.
5– Digestions organs need to be given maximum respect as this leads to disease when damaged or can lead to longitivtiy if repaired and taken care
So Liver and pancreas must be taken into consideration when you are opening your mouth to eat anything
Rajpal explained it logically that each time you put something in your mouth pancreas release insulin and liver also starts working . You think oh it was not a meal it is just chai or nuts or fruits or raisin but god made machine is designed it such that organs are put to work .
Imagine with each episode of opening your mouth for any kind of food or an item of food how much we are putting our machine to work and obviously when it’s working ( organs) round the clock then first is wear and tear later blockages then it stops and we are Dieased .
6– To repair and reverse let there be 3 Episodes of eating . Means strictly 3 times . Once you discipline this you can shift to two ideally timed meals .
6– As long as you are taking natural foods , seasonal ,locally grown and without preservation and not processed you are doing everything right about your food.
7– Omitting fat from meals is not a good idea but omitting sugar is the best gift you can give to yourself.
8– plan how you can include wholesome food items in your 3 episodes of eating . That is left to your inherent wisdom of each body .
9– When you are eating that is with Mindfulness ( keep gadgets away , relax , let all your senses be involved with food).
10– usually plant based food is considered good but then non veg is not prohibited as long as you understand that non veg food takes longer time to digest which means next episode of eating needs to be spaced longer .
10- Carbs are important as long as you take these in right portion ( inclusive of dietary fibre) . Processed carbs are bad.
11– Movement( exercise) is equally important.
Right food , rightly timed , right movement or exercise puts you in Healing and repairing the damages already done to your body but from now onwards it’s life long process not for months .
12–Listen or observe your body for all signs you would know what good item is good or bad for you.
No YouTube channel, no Google , no doctor or hakeem can advise you better than your body . What is good for you may be bad for other . So MINDFULLNES .

Nutshell —-
3 Episodes of eating ( remember putting even a tiny bit of any food is one episode and any kind of tea without sugar too is an episode ).

Exercise .

Have 3 ltr a of water ( you can slowly achieve this target )

Stay tuned to your body it will guide you

Stay positive as all is not gone so much is still left to REBUILD, REPAIR , and lead ourselves from Disease to EASE.
Try
Include millets - about 15% in your daily diet.
Have fermented foods as these are excellent for Gut
Be it kimchi, acchar ( not too much oil)
If you can make and have them Kefir ( water kefir, milk kefir ) is best for gut and healing
