I am very happy to recommend Abeez. We found him while looking for a reliable person to look after my two cats that come with different needs - one of them just six months old while the other one is five years old. The small one is hyper energetic and playful and needs attention, while the older one is very moody and will only come to you when she wants to, or when she wants food. Abeez is undoubtedly passionate about animals and dedicated to the work of pet sitting. He came and met the cats before accepting the job. He instantly bonded with the cats. Despite having to travel between Byculla to Andheri twice daily, he went out of his way to make sure the cats are fed timely and their needs met, and spent extra time with them. We got pictures and videos regularly while away, and Abeez also shared his observations about the cats’ behaviour. He is easy to communicate with. We will definitely recommend Abeez and .genie if you’re looking for someone who is friendly, dedicated, and will give personal attention to your pet. ‘We moved to Goa from Mumbai after spending five years in the city. We are proud parents to two very loving and obedient fur kids - Lucas and Zoey. Lucas was an absolute social baby while Zoey was introverted and took time to adjust and open up perhaps being a Covid baby.

Living in a bigger home and with so much of greenery , we adopted one more puppy from the beach named Scruffy and was blessed to be the chosen one to a very white and fuzzy stray cat and named him Kitty boo.

We had plans of visiting Singapore for 5 nights in July and had already spoken to our dog walker of Five years ,unfortunately he had cancelled last moment and we didn’t know what to do.

Putting them at a pet boarding was out of question since it was a new place and also being kept in an enclosed cage like environment did not sit well with us. We were worried Zoey would have behavioral issues since it would be the first time we would be leaving her behind in a new environment. Lucas has been used to being at a pet boarding facility and so wouldn’t be that much of a challenge.

I reached out to a common friend’s sister who suggested Abeez. We were initially very apprehensive and hesitant since not many could handle Zoey ( she would growl constantly but not bite ) so we decided to call Abeez two days in advance to stay with us as a guest and get familiar with the kids.

When we met him we immediately knew he was the right choice, he was confident and had the perfect skills required for a pet sitter. He took time to get familiar with each one of them and observed their behaviour and on basis of that would approach to befriend them when we were gone. Lucas and Scruffy both being very social did not have any issues but we were surprised to see Zoey open up to him the evening we left. Kitty boo also was happy since he was getting his meals on time and was being taken care of well.

All in all it has been a very good experience and we are happy to know now , no matter where we go we can call on Abeez. He is not just a pet sitter but does everything it takes to make you feel comfortable. It would feel like a friend who decided to stay back to take care of your fur kids. Contd in comments

Kindly bear with the long note, since it's coming from heart and experience...

We (my 2 kids Crusoe, the Labrador then 9 years and Bruty, the Indie then 8 years, my husband & I) moved to Mumbai in 2018 from Bangalore.

I am an independent rescuer and had been doing my share of animal (dog) welfare work when I was in Bangalore and hence had a decent connect with many such fellow animal welfare people and had an amazing access to people who can look after my kids in my absence as a pet sitter. And this has been our go to option since my kids were ageing and I couldn't board them as I used to earlier.

Since we moved here, we struggled to find a pet sitter in the suburbs.... All the options were only limited to the main happening Mumbai...

We had to choose the option of boarding but over time it wasn't viable for us due to age factor and the repurcusions due to it.

Through some connection via the boarder, we found Abeez. I was reluctant in the beginning not because of Abeez, but because of his gender since my daughter (Bruty, the Queen) is apprehensive of men. There are very few selected men, she allows access in her house and to pet her.
We scheduled a meet with Abeez to just see how Bruty takes him. I have to admit, Abeez gave Bruty the time she needed to trust him so beautifully and patiently. Because not all dogs are same.

After our first pet sitting experience, my cook, my maids were all gaga about Abeez and how well he took care of my kids. I thought he bribed them but I would have caught that in the camera (pun 😋).

But the main reason for my long review is because of what Abeez did for me and my Crusoe during my Crusoe's last days. He passed away this July. I was all alone and without help and I reached out to Abeez helplessly. Abeez who wasn't in town, took a bus immediately and came to our rescue by cancelling his program without any hesitation. Although I lost my son, but the timely help from Abeez in such scenario speaks volumes of what he is as a person.

I think the above explains why I strongly vouch for Abeez to all those who are looking for an A-M-A-Z-I-N-G pet sitter in Mumbai.
