Cat Café Studio (CCS) is open to cat lovers and enthusiasts in Mumbai! Lounge in the company of our cats, while you sip on freshly brewed coffee or devour a slice of cake that’s come straight out of the oven. Your Happy Place: check. Started in 2010 on a small scale and limited to animal-lover communities, Cat Café Studio opened its gates in 2015, to an overwhelming response and heartwarming purrs

. Cat Café currently hosts between 30 to 40 cats at any given time. With Rs.250 per person/unlimited hours, as an entry charge for visiting our lovely feline. All the proceeds made from the cafe go towards caring for the senior and special needs cats in our care. All cats at Cat Café Studio are up for Adoption. For details and consultation on the Adoption process, please visit Cat Café and contact the staff, We’re as friendly as our cats! You know what they say – time spent with cats is never wasted. CCS is a private organization run and funded by Zcyphher – An Independent Creative Agency. All cats are rescued and nurtured to good health by our NGO unit The Feline Foundation before they join the huge cat clan of Cat Café Studio. The Team:

Our gentle boy Gibson will be ringing his 6th New Year with us at Cat Cafe Studio, as of 2024 🥺✨

Gibson came to us in 2018 with a rather large facial wound that bled heavily. While we weren’t sure how the wound came to be, we knew he needed immediate medical attention. The pawsome vets at our NGO unit,  worked on treating him. Though most of the skin around his nose and mouth healed to a delicate scar, there remained permanent damage to his tear duct. As the pH of tears tends to be acidic in nature, it has left a non-healing wound around his eyes. Gibson has full vision in both eyes and no incidents of heavy bleeding from his face in 5 years now 💓

He may give the impression of a rough and tumble old man, but don’t be fooled! Gibson has the soul and spirit of a sweet little kitten. A bashful boy, he takes a bit to warm up. But once you’ve caught his attention, he’ll be hungry for it! No matter how deep of a slumber he’s in, his ears will perk up when you call out his name 🥰

He has claimed a soft spot in every CCS Hooman’s heart. One of us will pat our legs and call out, “Gibby, where are you?” and he rushes over as fast as his little legs take him. He’ll be heavily rewarded in scritches and butt pats! Just a few pats on his butt and he’s rolling on the floor like a baby kitten! He reaches up to try to grab hands. He loves toys as well, whether it's a string toy or a stuffy 🪀 Once you start playing with him, you won’t be able to stop. Gibson’s energy is addictive and all you’ll want to do is play with him constantly! He's very picky about which lap to snuggle in, so if you get chosen- know that he thinks that you are special 💞

For 6 years, Gibson has been waiting for a kind, patient and loving person to walk into the cafe. Someone who knows that he’s a shy and sweet boy, who loves to play and just wants to shower him with endless love, which he is willing to give back 🥹

With the impending new year, we have some tasty new bites coming!

Earlier this month, we shared a little sneak peek of what our kitchen team was working on. Well, those weren’t the only delicious meals they were working on ✨ 

Here’s a look at one of our new pasta dishes! Spinach and four cheese ravioli with a creamy butter sauce. Pasta is kneaded fresh in our kitchen 🍝 Perfectly seasoned, with a light but rich sauce it’s ideal for cosy Sunday lunch with your friends. We’re also working on more fresh pasta dishes (with vegan versions too!) for you to enjoy on a weekend afternoon 😋

We’re so excited for you to try our new menu! The best part? All proceeds from the cafe goes towards the care of our kitties 🥹💓

As we come close to the end of the year, we like to think about how far we’ve come here at Cat Café Studio 😺

While we are a space for rescue cats to find their homes, being a haven for animal lovers is what we pride ourselves in 💓 Which is why we keep our tables low, with stools on the floor, so you can be at level with the kitties. So you can give them a pet or scritch or play with them, or just to enjoy their company 🥰

We pride ourselves on being an inclusive place where animal lovers can come together and spend a cozy afternoon with our kitties 🌈 Whether they want to take one home, or just want some company. You can bring your book, sketchpad or even your laptop to the cat area. Kitties love to spend time with people with laps to offer 😻

This is Daze and as of 2024, this will be her 6th Christmas at Cat Café Studio 🥺🎄

We met Daze in 2018, as a skittish kitten who had been in a road accident where a bike ran over her neck. Though she survived the incident it left her with partial blindness where she has no depth perception and lifelong neurological issues.

This accident left her traumatised and is the reason for a while, why she deeply distrusted humans. It took some time, but the team at Cat Café Studio won over her heart 💓 We quickly learnt that her trust needs to be earned, and nothing feels as good once she loves and trusts you! She’ll show love in her own unique ways- It will be a soft baby meow, running to you when she hears her name, playfully head-butting you to demand pets and not to forget her 9-5 biscuit-making factory she’s so dedicated to 🥰

These are little things you learn about her over time and grow fond of!

For the past 6 years, we have been waiting for the right human to walk into the cafe, understand her needs and take her home forever—someone who not only accepts but treasures her little eccentricities ✨

The weather outside isn’t that frightful ❄️, but the kitties in here are delightful 😺

As we have finally hit the cozy season in Mumbai, all kitties have gotten in the mood to snuggle 🥰 And more than on a pillow or blanket, they’ve been preferring hooman laps. Nothing will warm up your heart and soul more than a cat on your lap 🥺

Yesterday we hosted the most meowgical fundraiser ever! With Urooj Ashfaq as our artist for the night!

It was an evening spent laughing, ‘hawwwwing’ at the edgy jokes and relating to the same life experiences as Urooj! The kitties has a blast too trying to steal the limelight from show. They would run across the room or find cozy laps to sleep in 🥹

This fundraiser was super meaningful to us as ALL the proceeds made from the event goes directly towards the care of our kitties!

Thank you so much to everyone who joined us yesterday and a big thank you to Urooj for doing this show for us and being such an amazing hooman being! We and the kitties love you 💗

🌟 CAT OF THE MONTH: FANTA 🌟

Launching a new series for our kitties! Cat of the Month for December is our fantastic boy, Fanta 🧡

Chosen by our CCS Hooman, Riddhima, Fanta is growing so much! While he is still the goofy and playful boy we’ve always known, he has been showing his sweet and cuddly side more these days 🥰

He’s become a fast favourite of all the CCS Hoomans, especially our kitchen hoomans, Rutik and Ameya! When either of them step into the cat area, Fanta will rush over demanding pets and scritches from them. He’s always open to meeting new people, ready to welcome them here! And once a visitor gets comfortable, Fanta is ready to play and snuggle with them 💓 He’s also been getting along great with the other kitties (still not with the girl cats ), especially Nikolaj. They’ve formed a mischievous brotherly bond, ready to cause chaos wherever they go 💫

Fizzy and snuggly, Fanta has grown into a burst of orange energy over the last year 🍊 As loved as he is by our staff, all he wants is a special hooman whos’ energy can match his own. Someone to play all day and cuddle all evening with 🥺
