Volunteer-managed page The shelter was popularly known as "SPCA Noida". The shelter is now their home.
This is a page dedicated to the animals at the animal shelter cm hospital at Sector 94, Noida, which was being run by the SPCA Noida for the Noida Authority since year 2000 until January 2017. Spread out over more than 8 acres of land, it has almost a 1500 animals in its care at any given point of time. Ailing, injured, infirm, disabled, old and abandoned animals; animals rescued from abuse; acci
dent and trauma cases brought in every day; animals with maggot-infested wounds; diseased animals ... the list is endless. The resident animals are those that have recovered from illness, accident, or injury, and had no other home or place to go. Dogs, cats, Monkeys, cows, buffaloes, bulls, oxen, donkeys, horses, ponies, birds that cannot fly ..... at one point the shelter was home to an old abandoned camel as well! This is a page dedicated to those animals, and to the shelter that is their home.

✨ A heartfelt shout-out to Gina, a dedicated volunteer at our shelter✨
On Republic Day, she celebrated with our staff by distributing sweets. It’s important to show kindness to the staff who work tirelessly with us. Recognizing their efforts creates a positive and supportive environment. We appreciate her kindness and long standing commitment to the shelter.

In the last 12 days, it’s so heartbreaking that we’ve had 5 abandoned dogs come into our shelter: 4 German Shepherds and a Lhasa Apso in critical condition.
Why keep a pet if you can’t even bring him to our OPD for treatment for minimal charges ?!?
And why abandon your loyal friend when he needs you the most?

Please come forward to foster/adopt these three healthy kittens, no more than 1.5 months old, dropped off at our shelter by someone claiming they found them without the mother.
While we have no way of knowing if the kittens are indeed orphaned or not, without the help of the person who dumped them, we cannot do much more than look for homes for them. Please share ahead and connect us to anybody looking to adopt small kittens (experienced cat parents preferred, all adoption formalities will be observed).
To adopt/foster, email Gina at [email protected] or WhatsApp (ONLY) Aparna on 9711219222.

It is always distressing when dogs are abandoned. It is even more distressing when a breed not meant for India is found abandoned.
Our boy Raja, came to us in a sad state - emaciated, with overgrown nails and a hopeless look in his eyes. We put the word out for an immediate adoption but did not receive much response.
About 3 weeks after Raja came in, we had a walk-in. Kabir Handa and his father came to have a look at our dogs, looking mostly for a German Shepherd to replace one who had passed. Kabir, however, took a look at Raja and decided he needed the most help.
And so, Raja became Yoda, taking to his new family like a duck to water - settling in before we could blink! After spending a few days in his grandparents' Noida home, Yoda is now happily settled in Dehradun with his parents - living the life he is entitled to.
Thank you, Kabir and family, for being so pro-adoption and opening your homes and hearts to this giant baby boy ❤️

This poor Camel was spotted by a passer-by on the road on the road from Indirapuram to Ghaziabad in the evening of 22nd September 2023.
After he reported to our helpline and the large animal ambulance rescued and brought him to our Shelter. He was barely able to stand.
After he was examined by our Vet. His front legs were swollen and filled with pus. He was severely malnourished and had injuries all over his body. It seems he was sadly abandoned by his owners who didn’t want to treat him. He has been under treatment and his health has improved over the last month.

We had 3 abandonment this long weekend. A German Shepherd, a poor old Great Dane, and a white color Husky.
While we struggle with resources and space to manage so many animals and so many abandoned dogs, we keep looking for homes that will give an abandoned dog a chance.
Please please reach out to us and come and meet these poor souls.
Volunteer or adopt, or at least sponsor or share our posts.

Sweet L'il Pixie was abandoned at The Animal Hospital & Shelter, Noida, on 16/6/23. Tiny and introverted, she seemed such a misfit for the shelter environment.
We reached out to Anjali Sharma, a long-time volunteer and an ardent pom/spitz lover, and were delighted when Pixie went home almost immediately.
Knowing the Sharma-Vinaik household, there were no doubts about the outcomes for Pixie - happy, vocal, and a bully of all other four-legged members of the family❣️

Bully, a much loved and happy-go-lucky doggo at the shelter, went home to the Goyals three years ago.
While we follow up diligently for the first year or so, we were pleasantly surprised to get this update about Bully in our inboxes.
Happy adoptions = Happy us = Hope for all our abandoned dogs

Shiney, a sweet and friendly spitz, was adopted on July 20, 2023, by Babita and her sister.
Babita previously had a Spitz who they loved a lot but passed away a while ago.
Shiney has a cat 🐈 sibling now and leads a blissfully happy life, being spoiled rotten by all at home ❤️

mom and pups!
Does anyone recognize this small family of mom and two small pups? Do they belong to a community or society and have been misplaced?
Someone tied them outside the shelter boundary this morning. We've taken them in but perhaps someone is looking for them.
If you know of their home or caretaker, please Inbox us.

Bruno, a young lab mix, was found abandoned for unknown reasons and joined the ranks of our many blacks labs.
However, to his good fortune, Sandeep Upadhyay, who had previously adopted an older black lab (Blacky) from us, reached out to adopt a needy dog.
When Pratima and Sandeep visited us to see the dogs, Bruno chose them and went home happily ❤️
The pictures speak for themselves ❣️

came to us 2 weeks ago. He is such a sweet dog that must have been abused by breeders to constantly breed, that the moment you step close to him, he starts hu***ng your leg nonstop.
He probably got too old, possibly 11-12 years old and since he could no longer produce, was discarded. Backyard breeders only care about profit.
Please only adopt from shelters and put these shameless heartless breeders out of business.
We now hope that gradually Buzo will calm down and reduce his habit to grab and hump.
We pray that someone can see Buzo for what he is and adopt Buzo and love him 🙏

Bingo is a sweet Labrador that came to us recently from Sector 162 Noida after it was claimed he was roaming around alone.
He is a gentle dog, who was earlier shy when he came in. The last few days, he has been coming out of the room to befriend staff, volunteers, and other doggy residents. He appears to have a happy-go-lucky attitude and rewards people with a tail wag after he is given a tasty treat.
To adopt Bingo, please refer to the poster details.

Meethi is as sweet as her name. She loves to zoom in the field, go for walks! She also loves to give her favorite people all the kisses and love. She has done well with making new K9 friends while in shelter, but can be a little excited so slow introductions are needed if you already have a dog at home. Meethi is looking for her second chance at a forever home with a family she can make as happy as she is. If you think you could be the right fit for this sweetie please contact us on the number provided.

This is what a dog that once had a home and family and is now thrown out like yesterdays trash looks like. Extremely stressed and scared! Casper was adopted from our shelter in 2015 when she was 2-3 years old young by Kaushal. After 9 years now he realised he neither has time nor space for this unfortunate old sweetie. Kaushal had no empathy for this loyal friend who was a sweet companion all these years. To all the animal rescuers, pls don’t let this pathetic human ever bring a pet home.
#Thankyou #Donatekart Our heartfelt Thank you to Donatekart for your monthly giving scheme. It has been such a boon for all animals and we appreciate your help with all our hearts. ❤️ Your concern for our Animal shelter is above and beyond. Please accept our since #gratitude and your ongoing help for 1000 dogs and cats. Thank you once Again! 🙏

#rescue #release #AHSN_DF The Animal Hospital and Shelter, Noida, received a call about a dog that had fallen down a 30-40 feet shaft in Jaypee Aman, Sector 151, Noida. We sent one of our best teams to the rescue but they were also shaken by the depth at which the doggo was. Our courageous Jeetu, however, decided to take the plunge (literally) and after ensuring that all safety precautions were in place, descended cautiously. After a lot of cajoling, the dog was finally placed in a sack and securely pulled to the surface. Surprisingly, she was injury-free and rushed off to whichever safe corner she had come from 🙏
#rescue #rehabilitation #fruitbat #ahsn_df An ill and very weak fruit bat was found by our ambulance in Sector 39 on Jan 10, 2023. After being brought in, he just kept lying at the bottom of a cardboard box, too weak to move. After a few days of treatment and good feeding by our dedicated staff, he was released back into the wild today🙏
#rescue #release #ahsn_df This poor doggo got his head stuck in an abandoned plastic jar; it probably had some leftover edible item in it ☹️ On receiving a call from Sector 80, our ambulance was dispatched. However, since the jar was stuck so tightly, our boys could not remove it on the spot. The doggo was brought to our OPD, where the jar had to be cut away to be able to provide him relief. He is now relaxing for a couple of hours and is under observation. If all goes well, he will be released in a couple of hours, in his own territory.
#Abandoned #Abused #rescuedog #ahsn_df Can you imagine a German Shepherd in such a pathetic condition? This poor baby was #rescued yesterday by The Animal Hospital & Shelter, Noida. He is in such a poor state, we really hope we can turn him around. With his ribs showing & overall terrible body and fur health, it appears as if he has suffered through like long periods of abuse and neglect 💔 Please pray for his recovery 🙏

Prince of Hearts
Meet Prince! This gorgeous 2-3-year-old male Rottweiler can spend hours playing ball with the shelter staff and their kids - sometimes, with two balls at once! What is adorable about this video is that the shelter staff's kids play with ALL the dogs in our care but make sure that they give them the respect and love they deserve. The dogs return the love and respect immensely! This is especially pertinent today, when hate stories about stray dogs abound (by definition, stray includes abandoned dogs). Let's live and learn from these tiny children. Prince is up for adoption to a great family, who have some experience in raising Rottweilers. To adopt him, please WhatsApp Aparna: +18472433974 or mail Gina at [email protected]. Alternatively, to speed up the adoption process, please fill in the attached form. We will get back to those applicants who fulfill our criteria the most. https://goo.gl/forms/BDAVP0AD3ZxvI2cf1 #No breeders, please! #Sterilization is mandatory #Students please get your parents to contact us. #All adoption formalities apply.
