BARK AIR COMPLETES FIRST CROSS-COUNTRY DOG FLIGHT. INTENDS TO
BARK Air, the first airline dedicated to dogs, successfully completed its inaugural flight from New York to Los Angeles. Tickets cost $6,000 for pets and owners. The "white paw experience" flight featured various breeds enjoying dog-friendly treats and amenities. BARK's Chief of Staff, Katharine Enos, reported the flight as a great success with no dog drama. The airline aims to provide a stress-free travel experience for dogs, ensuring they are not treated as cargo. Plans include expanding routes to London, Paris, and other major cities. CEO Matt Meeker initiated BARK Air to cater to dogs' needs, inspired by his own challenges traveling with his Great Dane.
