One of the Jetty Dogs, Baban, was badly injured but noticed in time, and medication was started immediately. His wound has almost recovered. Feeders must watch for injuries while feeding the dogs.

Our team has been dedicated to caring for a group of dogs at Jetty, Killa Gao, Belapur since they were puppies. Now, after a year of nurturing, we have six healthy puppies, three of whom—Tara, Sitara, and Bindi—have been successfully sterilized. It has been a joyful experience to transport them in our car and ensure their well-being.

On November 7th, some students reported finding an elderly female dog in critical condition in Ghansoli. She was taken to foster care and began receiving treatment at Blue Cross Kharghar. Upon examination, her wound was found to be infested with maggots, and her creatinine levels were significantly elevated. Thanks to the dedicated efforts of Dr. Nikita and her team at Blue Cross, along with the support of the foster caregiver, the dog has shown great improvement and is now in good condition.
We named her Maggi.....

झाले असे आहे की माझा नंबर somehow ॲनिमल/बर्ड रेस्क्युअर म्हणून circulate झालाय, आणि मी ते माझे नशीब समजते की मला ते कॉल्स येतात,काही दिवसांपासून तर दिवसाची सुरुवातच अश्या call ने होते...

One animal lover group from seawoods, Darawe took their mother for a surgery as she had a huge swelling under her lower jaw. We named her Fulan. She is under treatment n in fostercare.

ECHO Foundation India has adopted the puppies n from last 2 months we are feeding them... They all have grown up to be healthy. They have been dewormed twice and soon will get vaccinated. We will put them for adoption.

This is how they wait for food… we think they must be looking at us as a 😉

आजकाल मोठ्या societies मध्ये feeders ला असणारा problem म्हणजे माऊंची वारंवार होणारी बाळंतपण... एकतर त्या female कॅट्स चे हाल, पिल्लांचे हाल आणि त्यांची शी, शु मुळे society वाले पण feeders ला त्रास देतात,

काही cat feeders ने आमच्या कडे चौकशी केली की कश्या प्रकारे हे resolve करता येईल, birth control हाच त्यावरचा उपाय असल्याने त्यांना ही पटले आणि मग
आम्ही Echo Foundation ने थोडा पुढाकार घेतला.

खारघर येथे असलेल्या Blue cross या vet hospital ला, तसेच Dr. Reddy (बेलापूर ), यांच्या सोबत surgeries चे rate bargain केले, paid foster पण fix केले, खूप कमी rates मध्ये एका मागे एक अश्या पांच surgeries करून घेतल्या मागच्या शनिवारी,

शुक्रवारी संध्याकाळीच कामाला लागलो, stray cats कितीही फ्रेंडली वाटत असल्या तरी त्यांना पकडणे is not easy... आणि त्यानंतर त्यांना panic न होऊ देणे त्याहून कठीण, पण जमले एकदाचे...

अक्षय तृतीयेला सोडले त्यांना परत त्यांच्या original territory मध्ये, मज्जा आली, गंमत म्हणजे Aldo नावाच्या बोक्याने सगळ्यात जास्त गोंधळ घातला होता, बास्केट ला घासून नाक रक्ताळले, पण जेव्हा सोडले तेव्हा खूप वेळ पायाला अंग घासत होते आणि खूप बोलले...
आता या society मध्ये ही पांच बाळे सुखी राहतील....

Yesterday ie on 11th October 2022 around 1:30pm, we lost our KaluGirl. It was an unanticipated and unexpected cardiac arrest that took her life away.
We are missing you a lot Kalu girl. You were absolutely a gentle soul. Absolutely docile who loved hiding and protecting her food. This fighter girl had great a will power to beat the paralysis early this year.

We have Named him ARJUN
Arjuns videos and pics were being circulated on Whatsapp for more than 2-3 weeks . He was in alot of pain and kept Crying continuously. After several attempts . Our team has managed to rescue him Yesterday and was taken to the clinic.
After the Xray and the blood test , we came to know that he has a Chest tumor (Cancer) due to which the calcium is deposited on the bones causing the swollen legs.
Will soon be taking him to the TATA Hospital..
Arjun has been shifted to a foster house

Treatment and medicine has costed Rs 2920 /- (bill has been attached on slide 5)

We have been handling cases on daily basis, do support us so that we are able to promptly reach out to animals in need of medical care.

Some FAQs:

Q: Since when did the animals become companion of human beings?
A: Since ages... Infact, we are born to protect and nurture the ecosystem, instead of exploiting it and it's beings.

Q: Some have animal(s) at home just because the astrologer has asked for the same...
A: Well, there are some folks who do that for some reason or for status symbol. Rare are those who accept the animals as their family members.

Q: Are their any stories where the animals have helped the adopters/fostercare givers/rescuers heal?
A: There are millions of such beautiful stories, where the lives have transformed or healed.

Story of Yudhishthir and his dog:

After the Pandavas made Abhimanyu 's son, Pariksh*t, the king of Hastinapur, they left for vanaprastha.

Yudhisthira led the way followed by Bheema, Arjuna, Nakula, Sahadeva and Draupadi. A dog also accompanied them through their journey.

Draupadi, Sahadev, Nakula, Arjuna and Bheema perished one after the other.

And now only Yudhisthira and the dog were left, continuing the journey together.

They shared their meals and walked the perilous path together.

After walking for days Yudhishthir finally found the chariot of Indra which had come to es**rt him to heaven.

Indra was pleased to see Yudhishthir and embraced him as an old friend. He said, he had been waiting for Yudhishthir since he'd left Hastinapur to take him to heaven himself.

Indra asked Yudhishthir to step on his chariot so that they may start journey to heaven together.

Seeing the Yudhishthir step on the chariot the dog too ran to embark on it. Indra was surprised and angry that a dirty old dog had tried to hitch a ride on his golden chariot and tried to shoo it away.

The dog sadly got down from the chariot and lay on Yudhishthir's feet feeling dejected. Seeing this Yudhishthir was hurt and tried to counsel Indra into accepting his companion to travel with them. But Indra was adamant and angry and went as far as warning Yudhishthir that if he cannot abandon the sickly dog then he too must remain on Earth.

At this Yudhishthir smiled and descended the carriage, he bade Indra goodbye and walked back to his companion.

Indra was shocked. He explained to Yudhishthir, if he misses the chariot ride he can never enter heaven.

Yudhishthir smiled and said - “if I cannot share heaven with my friend then alas we both must abandon heaven and rejoice each other's company”.

At this Indra smiled and said - “you have passed your final test Yudhishthir, it shall be my honor to take you both with me.”

As Yudhishthir turned to the dog, he was surprised to find that the dog was never a dog but "Dharma" (God of righteousness).

And indeed, he blessed Yudhisthira for his complete lack of selfishness and dedication to righteousness in all circumstances.

And thus rose Yudhisthira to heaven in the chariot of Indra.
