Compost Coir Benefits:

It is used as a replacement for traditional peat in soil mixtures, or, as a soil-less substrate for plant cultivation.Coco peat is a 100% natural growing medium. This makes an excellent growing medium for hydroponics or container plant growing. Clean coir has natural rooting hormones and anti-fungal properties. Coco peat has a high water holding capacity, re-wets easily and at the same time has high air porosity, which allows excellent root aeration – oxygenation; mixes on potted plants with our coco peat and chips produces more functional roots improving plant nutrition and healthier plants. When plants are grown exclusively in coco peat, it is important to add nutrients according to the specific plants needs. Coco peat from India contains several macro and micro plant nutrients, including substantial quantities of potassium. This extra potassium can interfere with magnesium availability. Adding extra Magnesium through the addition of Epsom salts can correct this issue.
