Here comes our first dog breed: Cocker Spaniel

Description: The Cocker Spaniel is sturdy and compact dog The head is arched and looks slightly flattened when viewed from the side. The muzzle is the same length as the head with a defined stop.. The medium-sized, round eyes are dark brown or hazel in liver-colored dogs.The ears are et low and hanging long covered in silky or wavy hair. The tail is usually docked. Their feet are compact, large, round and firm with h***y pad.
Height Range: Dogs have a shoulder height of 15 inches
Bi***es have a shoulder height of 14 inches
Weight Range: Dogs weigh around 13 to 16 kgs
Bi***es weigh around 12 to 15 kgs"
Coat: Cocker Spaniel have a silky and flat coat and are average shedders
Colour: Cocker Spaniel comes in Black, Black and Tan, Liver and white ticked, Black and White, Black ticked with white, White with black pigmentation, Orange and white, lemon and white ticked with black or brown pigmentation, sable, silver and ash.
Life Span: Cocker Spaniel usually live for 12 to 15 years.
Grooming: Cocker Spaniel requires grooming once a week. The Cocker Spaniel sheds moderately and brushing regularly need to be done to keep your home and dog clean. Brush out burrs and tangles .Bathe your dog only when needed are needed .Trim the hair around the pads, but not between the toes. Nails need to be trimmed as needed , usually every few weeks. Teeth need to be brushed for overall health. Clean the ears as needed with a solution recommended by your veterinarian.
Temperament: The Cocker Spaniel is playful, friendly and faithful dog. They bond well with their family,especially children and other pets. Intelligence makes them highly trainable.
Activity: Cocker Spaniel are energetic, active and playful. A long, brisk daily walk is often enough for an older Cocker Spaniel. However, younger animals will need more activity, either in the form of walks, , playing in the yard with other companion animals or playing fetch with their owners.
