🐇 Keeping our furry friends healthy and happy! 💚 Did you know that hay, especially Timothy hay, is an essential part of an adult rabbit's diet? 🌾 It's not just a snack, it's a lifeline. 🌟

For both adult and baby rabbits, a proper diet is key. Adult rabbits thrive on a diet that includes:

🌱unlimited Fresh Timothy hay 80%
🥕 A variety of leafy greens 15%
🥦 Limited high-fiber pellets 5%
💧 Plenty of fresh water

Baby rabbits, on the other hand, have different dietary needs. Their diet includes:

🍼 Mother's milk until 8 weeks old
🌱 Introducing unlimited Alfalfa gradually since they start nibbling at a young age
Unlimited imited high-fiber pellets
🥦 Gradual transition to adult rabbit diet around 4-5 monts

Rabbits have delicate digestive systems, and an improper diet can lead to serious issues like diarrhea, dehydration, and gut stasis, which can be life-threatening. 🚫💔

That's why we always make sure our bunnies, both young and old, have a steady supply of fresh hay and the right grasses. It helps keep their digestion on track, prevents dental problems, and keeps them happy and hopping! 🌱🐰

So, remember, hay isn't just a side dish; it's the main course for our beloved rabbits. 🥗 Let's keep them healthy and thriving! 🐾❤️

🐰🦜 Oh, the drama at Bunny HQ! Bunbun had quite the adventure today. She got spooked by those pesky parrot noises outside. 😂 Mommy, with her wild imagination, told her they're here to collect brown rabbits who disobey humans! 😆 Guess Bunbun better behave or she'll be the next stowaway on the parrot express! 🚁🌴

Relieved and overjoyed to share the incredible news of Honey's swift recovery! 🐇💖 After a Snow🐰ing fiasco left her with a nasty bite wound, she's now completely healed and back to her mischievous self. 🙏 see the amazing transformation – from the initial wound to now! 📸 It took a solid seven days of antibiotics, painkillers, and herbal remedies for this remarkable turnaround.
Honey was on syringe fees for a complete 5 days as she refused to ear on her own
Lesson learned: rabbits can be sneaky mischief-makers, so extra caution is key! 🚨🐾 Here's to happy and healthy bunny days ahead! 🌈🌼

🐰 Update on Honey and Snowy: Honey, our 5-year-old queen bunny, recently had a tussle🥊🥊 with her 9-month-old brother, Snowy🐰.
Honey, with her dominating nature, tends to be bossy, chases and headbutts everyone away...she hasn't caused any serious injuries to anyone. However, Snowy, being timid, retaliated strongly (possibly saving his a** 🙄 resulting in a deep gash on Honey's tummy. 😢 She's now on antibiotics and painkillers, healing naturally after the vet decided against sutures. We are thankful as always to Dr Pritesh for his kindness vidhate

This incident occurred when Snowy managed to sneak past the baby gate, which Honey was pushing from the other side. Mummy was prepping breakfast for the bunnies & birdies

Lesson learned:
We gave purchased a secure baby gate which with either contain which will make sure this will not happen again. Bonding bunnies requires time, and it seems Honey, Snowy, andBun Bun need more of it. Snowy, not yet bonded, usually resides in a separate pen, peacefully beside them

Please pray for Honey's speedy recovery and a successful bonding process in the future! She is refusing to eat much on her own and is quite upset about the incident. She is one syringe feed and sleeps most of the day, eats pellets & veggies on her own but no hay. 💔
I will post initial pictures of the wound once Honey recovers more.

Having a rabbit child is rewarding- mostly when you have a fluffball to take pictures with. Alternatively in the background you do everything in your power to give them a quality life. Here's me all happy n smiley picking fresh Grass at the resort we stayed in 😄. I bet they don't need to employ anyone to clear bushes, had I stayed a bit longer 😄😄😄

This time mOmmy was after some pet pigeons 🤭. She loved the way they flocked together & forged food from mOmmy's hand 😂😂😂. They did a nonstop 'peck-peck-peck' till there was no food. She said that pigeons did not smell as good as us but they were beautiful 😍. Some pictures of the beauties ❤️

45 mins to Christmas here in India, grand hooms👴👵 have gone to bed 💤. Granny helped us get ready for Christmas🎄⛄🎅, but went to bed early as usual to meet Santa in her dreams🤭 😅😁.

around this time. Daddy was bsy with two other grand hooms 🤭👵👴.

A day well spent ❤️💕💞💖
Our aunt came to visit us today, it's a coincidence that she stays closer to grand hooms than us 🥲. She spent most of the time giving us head & tummy rubs.

Bunbun took this golden opportunity to sit right beside her to get some extra headrubs while Honey being bossy tried to nip her, demanded headrubs, begged for pellets & sniffed her all-over 😅🤭

The girls absolutely loved her & were looking for her after she left 🥲
hope we will see you soon 🤗🤗
