So,A Doberman, a Poodle and a Saint Bernard died and stood before God at the entrance to the Kingdom of Heaven.
God asked all three what they believe in?
The Doberman said, "I believe in discipline, training and loyalty to my owner."
"Well," said God, "Take a seat on my right."
"Poodle, what do you believe in?" God asked.
The Poodle replied, "I believe in love and care of my owner and the peace in the world."
"Ah," God said, "You can take a seat on my left side."
Then he looked at the Saint Bernard..
“And what do you believe in?"
The Saint Bernard stood there, looked at him and answered:

I lost my sweet boy Max on June 7th (8pm) last year. Today would have been his 10th birthday and it is the first birthday that I will not be with him to celebrate since I adopted him.
I loved celebrating his big day with him - spoiling him with new toys, birthday cake and treats, something special in his bowl for meals, and capping the night off with a little ice cream! I don't know if they have ice cream in heaven (though I can't imagine they wouldn't!) but I reminded God of the day and asked him to make it extra special for my boy since his mom can't be there this year.
I decided to get a cake today to celebrate his life.Although I am so very sad that I can't physically be with him I feel that his day should still be celebrated - his life should be celebrated and his memory honored. I hope that he is with me tonight and can see the love that I have for him. I wish I could give him a big birthday hug and kiss!
