𝗧𝗢𝗢 𝗚𝗢𝗢𝗗 𝗧𝗢 𝗕𝗘 𝗧𝗥𝗨𝗘 🧿

My fingers have been itching to make this post since July. While my alter ego kept reminded me of the past set-backs, my heart on the other hand, kept beating a rhythmic positive beat. Something was different this time. Different as in "too-good to-be-true" kinda different, "love-at-first-sight" kinda different and "haseena-maan-jayegi" kinda different.

Sounds too filmy? Too cheesy? Too uncatly? (If that's even a word😬)

Okay, without further ado, here's the shortest version of what this post is about.

Tigger, one of our regular boarding client who is almost 3 years old now, was put up for adoption by his previous family. The arrangement was that Tigger will stay with us until we find him his new home.

While we were waiting for his adoption poster from .cats.kittens we decided to start a subtle online adoption campaign by putting up his story along with other catto guests on our gram.

A couple of days later, Shehla approached me citing an interest in Tigger. The next thing I read, literally froze me. She said she wanted to adopt Tigger ASAP.

Call it a stroke of good luck - of Tigger's, of Shelha's or her family's - regardless, it worked in everybody's favour. Today, Tigger is living his bestest life surrounded by abundance of love, affection and kindness along with his human siblings and a catto sista, Gazelle (aka Gellu).

Thank you .sadaf and your whole family for including and accepting Tigger into your sweet family. We wish you all infinite happiness, blessings and best wishes. God bless! ❤

For the record, both the cats are sterilized and vaccinated. 🙂

This post is late by good 1.5 months 🙈. Anyhoo, better late than never!

Individual room: 1/5

We have already showed you the heart of our happy place in our previous post. Now, here's is where it beats - the entrance to our little "purradise". 🥰

This room here is one of our favourite individual rooms in the entire facility. If you happened to come early to drop your cats, you will be able to witness the sunrise from here. Right from natural lighting, to plants, to birds flying around, to ventilation, to vertical spaces and hideout spaces - this room checks all the boxes any cat (or human) could possibly need in a stay accomodation.

It doesn't comes out as a surprise then that this is also the most demanded room of ours 🙈. We have seen many shy cats open up quite easily here as there is so much for a cat to observe from this space.

This room can comfortably accommodate multiple cats from the same family as there is lot of space for movements and lounging.

A big shout out to for the beautiful yet sturdy two-way wall scratcher-cum-wall mount. We have also got 2 installed for our resident kids, the pictures of which will be shared shortly.

The other wall planks with faux grass is the work of our local carpenter.

Here's the first look of the entrance - the heart of our happy place. In here, you will not only meet cute cat babies, but you will also get to see our plant babies and our little winged furry friends as well. 🙂

We feel it's time we put this on record: Purry Vibes Cattery is 110% safe and secured place to house all your precious cat babies.Touchwood.

All our windows have permanent aluminum mesh installed. We went two steps ahead of installing extra safety doors on either sides of the main entrance as well as getting the open space outside the main door covered with bird netting.

The question that may pop into your minds is, now that we have a safe outdoor space, does this mean that cats could spend some time outside the cattery? Absolutely not.

The outdoor space will still remain inaccessible to your cats. We have only got the outside space cat-poofed for our mental peace as we don't want to risk any possible escaping of your cats. 😅

What about the inside of the cattery, you ask? Yes, we are currently in the process of upgrading each room. We will slowly reveal our set-up as and when it is complete, pinky promise!😬

Aaaw-y!

We want to kick-start 2022 with a happy beginning. And what better way to celebrate than narating the story of our little love-well a.k.a Pepper? 🙂

They say fairytales only exist in story books. We disagree. That there is no such thing as magic. We disagree. That angels (and demons) are celestial spirits. Pardon as, for we, disagree again.

Pepper was almost 1.5 year old when she first came to us. The agenda was that Pepper would stay with us until she gets adopted.

During her stay, she'd experienced:
⭐ 0 enquiries for the most part of the boarding duration. Apparently she's not as cute and appealing as kittens are or so we were told everytime we pitched for her adoption.

⭐ Failed adoption - just when we were jumping in joy, the prospective family changed their minds.

⭐ Not to forget the swelling of her colon - the treatment for which lasted for a month.

It was close-to becoming 1 year since the search for her forever home had begun and we were nowhere with leads. Not only were we disheartened but strangely we had grown fond of her as well.

But hey didn't we mention about angels and magic being real? Well an angel disguised as our client came into our lives, met Pepper, heard her story and tada! - magic happened! The next day her friend approached us, showed us his apartment, got his place cat-proof and took her with him. Just like that Pepper found her new and a permanent world. Or was it the other way round? We can't say!

She came to us on 19th October 2020. She found her forever home on 15th October 2021. It took 1 long year to see Pepper be where she deserves - the longest we have seen in our boarding and adoption career so far.

Surely the wait was long and painful but was worth it. Today, Pepper is living her life queen-size surrounded by her pawpa and his infinite love🤞.

We want to thank each one of you who rooted for her, prayed for her, enquired after her, contributed in amplifying her adoption appeals - THANK YOU, dil se, for always being there! God bless you with a happy new year!🧡

NEKO CHAN

Neko Chan is a little notorious monkey disguised as a kitten. We've boarded her so many times now that we've lost the count!

The first thing that truly amazed us on meeting Neko was her love for heights. No matter how implausible it may appear for a kitten to reach ceilings, this little monkey can throw herself up in the air with her trained paws, using only walls for support, and can easily nestle into the highest vantage points of any given room/place.

We only have one thing to say to our little Monkey-Kitty:
"Jahanpanah Neko, tussi great ho...Tofa kabool karo!"❤🐵

COOKIE

Our very own cookie dough - dunk in cuteness, sweetness and cuddles - makes us insanely insatiable for her.

Cookie being one of our oldest clients introduced us to cat-tongue. Yep, that's right! We still remember the first time we housed her - perhaps it was during early January last year - a dough ball ready to rock-n-roll our cattery! 😄

But Cookie is also a cat who easily gets bored and loses interest over a toy/mundane routine. What more, she is pretty vocal about what she wants and the fact that she wouldn't settle for less. After all, it's the boss cat lady that we're talking about!😅

Aa a matter of fact, it was Cookie who taught us to be creative, to make playtime more fun and encouraged us to look beyond the obvious.

It's always refreshing to have this overly sweet dough ball back. thank you once again for your decision to stick to us all this time! We love your cookie dough to the moon and back! Sending head and chin scritches to our little baby!❤

FREDDY

The first thing that caught our attention on seeing Freddy was his big beautiful blue eyes. If you notice closely, you'll find his sclera (the white part of the eye) has a remarkable shade of hazy blue. We knew then that his boi is special, not just anatomically, but unique in every sense imaginable.

Since Freddy was with with us for a little over a month, he became an important part of our family. He warmed up to us instantly and surprised us with his many artistries (yes, that's right!) and his ability to communicate with humans so easily.

For instance, Freddy would come running to us and welcome us with his signature happy "Nagin" dance. He'd roll on the floor, toss on either sides, meow in usual sing-song manner, and finally close the act by stretching his torso upwards and exposing his tummy!

Secondly, we CAN NOT forget his super high jumps while playing! My god, this fellow can jump as high as 5 feet (and more). He can run, jump & play all day long!

Thirdly, his ability to mimic humans. You read it right. Generally, cat meows sound identical to babies. But not of Freddy's. Freddy can not only mimic an adult but can replicate their style or tone of speaking. We wonder if he's a parrot or a cat. Our conclusion is that he is both! 😝

The list is huge. The more we think of him, the bigger the void gets that Freddy left in our hearts. We miss him and are happy that he's back where he truly belongs - his dear home surrounded by his lovely pawrents 😊.

Pepper is an almost-3-year-old female cat and a pet to her previous meowmy

One of Pepper's previous family members have developed a serious allergy towards cats. This lead the family to find another home for her and that's how Pepper was referred to us.

We know what some of you are thinking. It''s like we could (almost) hear you out 🙂. To all your questions, the answer is YES:

🐾Yes, she is an adult cat.(Fun fact: all kittens eventually grow into adult cats).

🐾Yes, she is vaccinated, spayed, litter trained, an indoor cat & is absolutely healthy.

🐾Yes, she is a lap kitty.

🐾Yes, she is tiny in size and looks more like a kitten.

🐾Yes, she'd adapt well and synch faster (than a kitten) to your routine.

🐾Yes, she'd definitely take some time to get familiar with her new home and family. We are there to guide you on that front.

🐾Yes, she will cling onto you as long as she takes her last breath!

Pepper is full of love and positive energy. She may take a while before she let's you pet her. But remember, the second she comes hopping onto your lap, is the day she truly accepts you as her guardian angel.If this isn't the act of love, we really don't know what is.

If you happened to skip a beat reading this, we welcome you to meet her and spend some time with her. After all, what would you possibly lose? 🙂

MAU

The first memory of Mau we have is of a 2-something-month old kitten. It was Mau's first time boarding with us and the imagine of him still lies crisp in our heads - his little tail wagging behind him as he wiggles out from our hands only to run, climb, jump and land clumsily on his paws. He did this on repeat mode until he got tired.

Fast forward 9 months, and here is again - all grown up and acting like a proper handsome adult cat (sigh!). This personality of Mau is slightly different from his early life. He still loves to play and is forever ready for head scratches (thank god for that!). But, what really interested us was his ways of finding unique cozy spots for himself. Right from curling up inside the cat tree hole, to sleeping under the blanket, Mau adored hiding spots and befriended them instantly.

Though we still miss his rocket-like energy and his soft nibbles from his childhood days, our love and admiration for this chonky face is only growing with time.

Everytime he stays with us, Mau etches a fresh, sweet memory in our mind palace. Damn, we miss him more now! thank you for trusting us with your baby! It means the world to us! ❤

Hello Peeee-Pawl!

Some of you who have boarded with us would know that we are only into paid boarding and fostering services. Over the last 6 months however we have had 4 cats that were brought to us for adoptions.

Although we have developed some decent experience in handling cats with different temperaments, taking responsiblility of finding permanent homes on behalf of the cats and his/her previous owner is totally a different path to walk on.

SPECIAL MENTIONS

If it hadn't been for the .cats.kittens we'd been lost, for sure. Right from making adoption posters to guiding us on running background checks on prospective adopters - the entire team was literally on board with us.

Special thanks to and for being available at all times and patiently allowing us to chew on their brains. We are forever thankful to them!

THE CHALLENGES

Though we had all the support we need in finding homes tor them, it wasn't easy as it first appeared to be.

For instance, we had to deal with aggression in a certain cat. It took us a while to understand him, work on him, before finally lining up leads for him. The second hardest challenge we faced was finding home for Zara who was born without a tail. There were no takers for her!

ANNNNNND, WE FOUND IT!!!!

We literally had to channel ALL our inner energies and resources at finding these adorable babies their well deserved homes. And guess what - we did!

We are so happy and thankful to the universe for answering all our prayers. Here's a quick glimpse of our success stories:

1. Blacky (now Mathru) is our first successful adoption case. In the words of his pawdy .nilakantan
"Mathru is ruling the house"

2. Zorro (now Kayo) is the first of the z-siblings that got adopted. Hugs to for not only did she rescue them but also paid for their medical treatments and supplies.

Kayo is seen chilling with his cat sibling in his new home.

3. The other two of the Z-siblings: Zara & Zizu relaxing sharing space with their new sista. God bless for adopting them.

Sometimes angels do visit us in disguise, you see 🙂.

Fun, bubbly, infectious and a rocket bomb - kitty always brings out a big grin on our stupid faces!

Light as a feather, kitty loves being lifted and walked around. Needless to say then that this bundle of cuteness is another of our favourite catto kids 😬.

We literally squeaked in delight (no kidding) when we learnt that kitty was coming to us AGAIN when her pawrents declared in the last pick-up! 😄

By simply watching her (in repeat mode) - sprint around the room, rub her head against our palm, followed by her cute butt dance and soft purrs - brings so much joy and peace in us.

With only one more day left before she bids us goodbye, we are savoring every moment with her. We know we are going to miss kitty and we'll eagerly wait for her to return 🙃.

In Arabic and Hebrew, the name "Laila" means "night beauty".

True to her name, Laila is definitely a beautiful cat that we dont meet everyday.

Clueless to the world outside her home and this being her first boarding experience (ever), pawpa's ( ) dearest princess Laila was terrified, confused and lost.

Now, we are patient with all our cat guests. We believe that giving cats enough time and space helps them in coping with the new environment.

But when we did break the ice with her, we couldn't stop gaping at her personality. With every passing day, we are falling more and more for her 🙈.

We sincerely hope and pray that we make friends with this night beauty and win the golden ticket to petting her (😅🤞).

Major missing happening! 😭

to the time when Peaches & Mono were boarded with us.

The thing we absolutey HATE about our work is that we get attached to our guest cats in a jiffy! And it gets worse with long term boarders! 🥺

Peaches & Mono were with us for nearly 4 months. We knew deep down in our hearts that there would eventually come a time when they'd go back to their homes. We kept brushing aside that thought and (selfishly) dreaded for that day to come. But when it finally did, it became a bittersweet moment for us.

It's been 9 days since we bid them goodbye and we still can't stop thinking about them. 🙈

your girls have been added to our favourite lists of cat siblings. Sending lots of squishy hugs to your girls and love to their fabulous meowmy & pawdy! ❤
