World Veterinary Day at Bengal Safari:

On this , held a special event to honor our dedicated , who are instrumental in keeping our animals healthy and thriving. Our Director and Assistant Director personally felicitated our team of veterinarians, recognizing their tireless efforts and profound commitment to animal welfare.
These professionals work behind the scenes to ensure every animal, from the smallest bird to the mighty tiger, receives the best care. Their expertise and compassion make Bengal Safari a safe and nurturing environment for all creatures.

As part of the day's events, we also organized a focused on understanding the behavior of captive tigers in zoo and safari settings. This workshop provided our staff with valuable insights into improving tiger care, safety, and overall well-being. It was a fantastic opportunity to share knowledge and learn from experts in the field.

We are grateful to everyone who joined us in celebrating World Veterinary Day and to our veterinarians for their dedication to animal health and safety.

Celebrating Earth Day at Bengal Safari: Plastic vs. Planet Art Competition! 🌿

Over 100 enthusiastic students from various schools gathered to participate in our art competition themed "Plastic vs. Planet." The event was filled with creativity, inspiration, and a shared commitment to a sustainable future. The competition served as a powerful reminder of the role younger generations play in shaping a greener future. It was heartening to witness these young minds advocating for environmental responsibility through their art.
Congratulations to all participants!
Everyone walked away with a sense of accomplishment and the knowledge that they contributed to raising awareness about the environmental challenges our planet faces.

Today was a day of festive delight at Bengal Safari as we unveiled an enchanting surprise for our cherished visitors! 🎉✨ We proudly showcased a special pair of Mandrills, adding a touch of wonder to your Christmas visit. 🐒✨

Our amazing team got into the spirit too! Our staff transformed into jolly Santas, spreading joy by gifting Santa caps and delicious chocolates to all the wonderful children who graced our zoo with their presence. 🎅🍫❤️

What made this day even more special? Our esteemed Director and Assistant Director joined the merry celebrations, joyously sharing Santa caps and chocolates with our incredible visitors. 🌟✨

Bengal Safari Unveils Latest Additions in Grand Ceremony:

On December 17, 2023, Bengal Safari proudly presented its new attractions to the public. The Western Hoolock Gibbon enclosure, a Pay & Use Toilet block, and E-cycling activities were inaugurated by Smt. Birbaha Hansda, Hon'ble Minister of State, Forests, Govt. of West Bengal. The ceremony was attended by esteemed guests, including Shri Saurabh Chaudhuri, IFS, Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests & Member Secretary, West Bengal Zoo Authority; Shri P.R Pradhan, IFS, General Manager, West Bengal Forest Development Corporation; Shri Bhaskar J.V., IFS, Conservator of Forests & Chief Conservator of Forests Wildlife (North), Shri S. Gajmer, IFS, CCF, Hills, Shri T T Bhutia, IFS, CF, North West Circle, as well as other senior officials from the Directorate of Forests, Govt. Of West Bengal.

The Minister's tour of the zoo and safari areas highlighted the government's dedication to conserving wildlife and improving visitor experiences. This event emphasized the importance of environmental protection and sustainable tourism, deepening the bond between humans and nature.
