What harm can a stray dog/cat can possibly bring you? It won’t rob you, deceive you, or intrude on your privacy. All it seeks is something so small yet vital—a piece of bread to satisfy its hunger. If it’s wounded, does it not deserve our care? Have we become so detached from compassion that we turn a blind eye to their suffering?

The Qur'an beautifully illustrates the bond between humans and animals, like the story of the dog that faithfully accompanied the Companions of the Cave (Surah Al-Kahf). This was no coincidence—Allah's message reminds us of the intrinsic worth of every creature He has created. Even our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) exemplified mercy, protecting a mother dog and her puppies during a military expedition.

Acts of kindness towards animals are not just humane; they reflect the depth of our faith. Let us rise to the call of compassion and fulfill our duty to protect and care for these voiceless beings. Together, let’s ensure that kindness wins.

Have you ever watched a stray dog seeking shelter from the cold, a cat longing for food, or a homeless cow roaming aimlessly in the streets? 🥺 How often have we felt an ache seeing our fellow sentient beings, God's very own creations, face such hardships, in the valley of Kashmir and wished we could do something?

Every time you see a stray, remember they, too, yearn for love and comfort just like us. Imagine, if every one of us could adopt or even feed one stray animal, how big a change could we bring?🙌💖

Friends, let's take a step today. Our faith tells us that our Creator enjoins mercy to every soul - this is our chance to become His tool, a beacon of kindness and compassion.

Today, be it dogs🐶, cats🐱, cows🐮, or horses🐴, we stand up for them. We rise for their rights, for their love, for their care and comfort. After all, we are their guardians, aren't we?

With immense joy and gratitude, we share a milestone achieved through our united efforts in safeguarding our beloved animals' rights. 🙌 Thanks to the relentless dedication of animal lover Advocate Ms. Nafia Wani and our entire community, we have achieved a significant breakthrough.
An FIR has been officially lodged in response to the heart-wrenching incident of the mysterious deaths of dogs in Baramulla. This is just the first step towards ensuring justice for our innocent companions. An investigation is now underway to uncover the truth and hold those responsible accountable for their actions.
Let's keep the momentum alive! 💪 Together, we will stand strong and united to ensure that these innocent lives get the justice they deserve. Our determination knows no bounds, and we are confident that with your unwavering support, we will achieve justice, inshaAllah.

This platform is essentially dedicated to bringing together compassionate individuals who share a common concern for the welfare and protection of stray animals in Kashmir.

Our mission is to establish a united community where we can express our love for animals and share the challenges we face in ensuring their well-being. By joining forces as a team, we aim to become a force to be reckoned with in advocating for the rights and safety of our furry friends & solving the problems faced by each one of us.

The stray animals already face numerous hardships daily and then there are many people who inflict cruelty on them. We firmly believe that we can make a significant difference by joining hands and working together to address these issues head-on. Through this page, we intend to provide a supportive space where we can brainstorm, collaborate, and take action as a collective unit.

Our primary objectives as Stray Guardians Kashmir are:

1️⃣ Raising Awareness: Education is key! We will strive to increase awareness about the importance of treating stray animals with kindness, empathy, and respect.
