In this activity, i will show you how to gain trust of a fearful agressive dog.

This indie dog had aggression problem. Everytime he bared his teeth and growled.

People got scared it became his defence mechanism and eventually his habit. To keep people away.

Now this is not a dominant agressive case this dog is fearful and has learned to express it through agression.

Any human who comes into his personal space the dog gets uncomfortable in that his body tenses up and he growls and pounces as shown in the video.

So never approach a fearful dog head on. Take slow steps side ways.

And i am using a racket to diffuse his strikes to keep a barrier between the dog and me.

When he learns that growling and baring teeth is not scaring this human. He eventually gives up and goes back to calm surrender state.

This is how i psychologically challenged a fearful agressive dog to finally surrender calmly and follow.

The pack walk is a primal activity which helps the dog to work as a team.

It influences the dog's behaviour to become calm and balanced, teaching them how to follow and trust their leader.

By walking together in a pack, the dogs are able to develop social skills and learn how to communicate with each other.

The pack walk can also help to resolve the conflict between dogs, as they learn how to settle disputes peacefully.

If your dog is dog reactive never introduce them face to face. Exercise the dogs first and walk them together making a pack.

Dogs that are high energy need to be given exercise before they are given affection. This will help them to expend their energy in a positive way and will make them calmer and more receptive to receiving love. Dogs that are not given enough exercise can become destructive or hyperactive.

19/05/2022

If your dog is reactive to other canines and you want to socialize your dog, try walking with submissive dogs. This will help your dog feel more comfortable around other dogs and will help him learn how to interact appropriately.

The best way to calm a dog down is to have a positive and assertive interaction with them.

Dogs are pack animals and look to their owners for guidance.

If an owner is assertive and positive with their dog, the dog will typically calm down.

It is important not to use fear or intimidation as a means of calming a dog down, as this can actually make the situation worse.

One way to give your dog a special experience is to provide positive reinforcement in the form of life experiences.

By exposing them to new things and providing positive feedback, you can help your dog learn and grow.

This can be done through activities such as obedience training, playing fetch or taking them for a walk in a new park.

By providing a stimulating environment and plenty of positive reinforcement, you can help your dog lead a happy and enriched life.

How you can desensitize sound reactive dog. Dane is terrified of traffic noise.

We took him to give some nature therapy where there are less sounds and which is more primal for him.

He was coping well in the woods after resisting for first few times.

Now he moves ahead effortlessly and is able to walk on a loose leash.

18/05/2022

Shadow the Dane was a great puller on leash since he was a puppy.

It was hard to take him for a walk.

Whenever the owners tried to take him out he use to run towards home.

This is likely because he was never exposed to the environment around him and instead only experienced the world within his home.

He reacts to unfamiliar sound and moving cars, which can be startling or even scary for him.

The tips on how to train it 👇

1. Have a handful of treats ready and your dog in front of you in a low distraction environment.

2. Wait for your dog to give you eye contact. Do not say their name, make a noise, wiggle, or anything else to try to make your dog look at you. Simply wait.

3. When your dog gives you eye contact, CLICK and TREAT!

4. Stand still and wait again.
On average, it takes dogs two to three minutes (or less) to figure out that looking at your face produces treats!

If your dog has aversion to the leash and runs away whenever you take it out.

Can create a positive association with the leash again by repeating these steps without using any sound.

By sitting next to your dog they learn that you are not chasing them and by praising under the chin.

The dogs associate the leash with affection. And if your dog has a good food drive you can use their fav treat after putting on the leash.

Structured walks provide dogs with an opportunity to explore their environment in a safe and controlled manner.

This allows them to achieve a balanced state of mind, which is calm and submissive.

By providing your dog with regular structured walks, you can help ensure that they remain healthy and well-behaved.

Relationships between humans and dogs have been a source of interest for many scholars in social psychology.

In particular, the connections between human-dog bonding and domestication have been studied extensively.

This connection is believed to stem from the fact that dogs were among the first animals to be domesticated by humans for their help as hunters and herders.

This relationship evolved over time until now, many people form strong emotional bonds with their dogs, often treating them as one of their own family members.

To connect and communicate with our dog,

It is important to make sure they are comfortable and not feeling anxious.

We need to be more active in how we teach them new behaviours or commands.

It is also important to spend time with our dogs on a daily basis.

When we do these things, we can have the best relationship possible with our dog.
