DISCOVER RURAL INDIA WITH KRISHNA RANCH We work environmental-friendly by using solar panels for hot water and by practicing organic farming only.

The Krishna Ranch is situated just 7 kilometers out of Udaipur at a very peaceful spot in the Arravali mountain-range.The Krishna Ranch is an ecological farm with 14 beautiful Marwari horses, many other animals and lush fields with a variety of crops.We have planted hundreds of (fruit)trees during the last 10 years. We try to reuse waste as much as possible. Of course all our horses and other animals are very well looked after by us and our dedicated staff.

Badi Lake hike. A 3 hour walk through the beautiful Aravali hills, past interesting villages and farms with a knowledgeable English speaking guide. A delicious lunch will be served at our farm after the hike.

A great time for a little monsoon get away in the Aravali hills. Our farm is located just 6 kilometers out of Udaipur City.

Our half day hikes are an excellent way to discover the beautiful surroundings of Udaipur. The hike starts by climbing a mountain located just behind our ranch. You will be rewarded with beautiful views of Badi Lake and the Aravali mountains. After descending the mountain we will visit the lake, have chai at a local tea shop and hike back to the ranch via farmlands and interesting villages.

Price: INR 1500 including a delicious lunch after the hike
