They don’t complain.
They don’t demand.
They simply look at us — with eyes that speak straight to the soul.

For the past 1.5 years, Varanasi for Animals has been listening to those silent voices.
Every single day, at every ghat — this is not just about catching dogs.
It’s about changing their lives.

Sterilizing them — so that endless cycles of birth and suffering can finally stop.
Vaccinating them — so that rabies doesn’t steal away another innocent life.
Treating them — not just their wounds, but their pain, their fear, their neglect.

This is not a job.
This is not some NGO duty.
This is love. This is seva. This is quiet compassion turning into daily action.

And walking every step of the way with us,
tirelessly, faithfully, is our dearest partner — Help Animals India.
Their silent strength powers every rescue van,
every medicine, every sterilization, every life saved.

But this mission is far from over.
Because on every corner, in every alley,
there’s still someone waiting —
hungry, scared, broken — and invisible to the world.

🙏 You can help change that.
Your voice, your support, your faith — it can bring light to lives that have only known darkness.

🧡 Varanasi for Animals and Help Animals India are writing this story together, every single day.
But the last chapter hasn’t been written yet…
Will you help us finish it — with compassion, with kindness, with action?

Kittu is not just a street dog — she’s family to the kind-hearted people who raised her since she was a puppy. 🐶❤️

One day, her family noticed a swelling on her belly. At first, they thought it was just a minor injury… but the lump kept growing. It was a tumor — large, painful, and dangerous. They were heartbroken but helpless, unable to afford the surgery that could save her life.

That’s when they turned to Varanasi for Animals for help.

With support from Help Animals India, our veterinary team performed a successful surgery to remove the tumor — and also sterilized Kittu to ensure her safety and well-being for the future. 🩺🙏

Just hours after the surgery, Kittu’s family was there — waiting to take her home, back into their loving arms. They didn’t abandon her. They fought for her. And together, we gave her another chance at life. 💕

There are many Kittus out there — dogs who suffer quietly, loved but forgotten by the system.
Your donations help us treat, heal, and protect them.

👉 If Kittu’s story touched your heart, please consider donating.
Together, we can save more lives. 🐾

On a busy road in Varanasi, a tiny street puppy lay crying in pain. A speeding bike had run over him, crushing one of his legs so badly that the bone was sticking out. He couldn’t move, he couldn’t stand — all he could do was cry for help.

That help came in the form of , a journalist and a compassionate volunteer with . Without a second thought, she picked him up gently and rushed him to the shelter.

The veterinary team examined him immediately. Sadly, the leg was too damaged to be saved — it had to be amputated to stop the pain and save his life.

The surgery was successful, and thanks to the incredible care at VFA — and the support of and generous donors like you — this little fighter began to recover. 💛 He may have lost a leg, but he gained something even greater: a new life full of love and safety.

And then, something even more beautiful happened — Soumya Ji adopted him.
He now has a forever home where he is healing, growing, and loved beyond measure. When he’s older, he will be to ensure his lifelong health and to help control the suffering of more dogs on the streets.

This is what compassion looks like.
This is what your donations make possible.

🙏 Please consider supporting more life-saving rescues like this.
Even the smallest donation can give an injured animal a second chance at life.

🐾 Naina’s Story – From Pain to Peace

A small puppy was found near Birla Hostel, BHU — limping, in visible pain, and unable to walk properly. She had pus in her leg, and the students living in the hostel noticed her struggling to move. Thankfully, one of them didn’t look away — instead, they immediately contacted the Varanasi for Animals (VFA) team for help.

The rescue team quickly responded, reached the location, and brought the little pup, lovingly named Naina, in for treatment. After proper medical care and recovery, she was released back to the same place — her familiar home — where the students had already been showering her with affection.

Naina, once a helpless puppy in pain, is now healthy, happy, and deeply loved by the students who care for her every day.

💛 This rescue was possible thanks to the dedication of VFA and the kind support from Help Animals India, whose donations make such life-saving treatments possible.

👉 Please consider supporting their work — every contribution helps another animal like Naina heal, survive, and be loved again.

🐾 Liza – A Story of Pain, Hope, and Healing

One quiet night in Varanasi, a street dog named Liza met with a brutal accident.
A speeding car ran over her lower back… and just drove away.

She was left there, motionless.
Broken. Bleeding. Crying silently.

That entire night, Liza lay in unbearable pain —
unable to stand, sit, eat, or even drink water.
No one stopped. No one cared.

The next morning, Anshikha, a kind-hearted volunteer from Varanasi for Animals (VFA), spotted her.
Even she felt hopeless for a moment.
Liza’s condition was horrifying.
“Maybe she won’t make it…” she thought.

But the VFA team refused to give up.

They rushed her to safety.
Every day, she received medicines, therapy, food, and quiet love.

There were no guarantees. No miracles.
Just dedication and faith.

Days passed. Slowly, signs of life returned to her eyes.
And then — one morning — she tried to stand.
She wobbled… but stood.

That moment was everything.

Liza fought back.
Because someone believed she deserved to live.

Today, she walks. She wags her tail. She plays.
She’s not “just a street dog.”
She’s a survivor —
a soul who got another chance only because someone chose not to walk away.

Earlier, Liza had already been sterilized through VFA’s ABC program,
thanks to the continued support of Help Animals India.
But this… this second chance at life —
It came through medicine, therapy, care… and compassion.

🧡 Thousands like Liza are still waiting…

They’re lying on roads.
Invisible. In pain. Hoping.

You can be their miracle.

There’s a kind of happiness that doesn’t need words — it lives in the wag of a tail, the sparkle in curious eyes, and the warm snuggles on cold mornings.

A dog’s gentle gaze, a kitten’s purring rhythm, even the way a calf leans into your palm — these are not just cute moments. They are tiny windows into unconditional love.

Animals don’t judge, don’t hold grudges. They forgive, they trust again, and they teach us to be better humans — softer, slower, kinder.

Every rescued life is a celebration of hope. Every fed street dog, every healed wound, every saved soul — it’s a small act of love echoing into the world.

At Varanasi for Animals and Help Animals India, we walk this journey every day — not just to help animals survive, but to help them live with dignity, peace, and joy.

We are not just an organization — we are a friend to those who can’t speak, can’t ask, but feel everything.
At Varanasi for Animals (VFA) and with the support of Help Animals India, we stand by the voiceless. We care for the abandoned, the injured, the old, and the forgotten. Because to us, compassion is not charity — it’s a responsibility.

Every bark, every gaze, every silent cry matters to us.
We believe that friendship with animals is the purest form of love — without expectations, without conditions. And that’s why we do what we do — not just to treat wounds, but to heal lives.

Our journey is not easy. But every life we save, every tail that wags again, every soul that finds peace — makes it all worth it.

We are their voice, their family, their hope. Because real friendship is standing beside those who can’t ask, but need you the most.
