🌱✨ Savitri is partnering with Surabhi Lions Blind Girls School to teach these incredible blind students 👩‍🦯 the importance of composting and sustainable education!

Our goal is to educate these young minds with knowledge on sustainability, showing them how composting can create a greener future —

Here’s a glimpse of our hands-on session where the girls, using their other senses, learned to turn compost, layer organic waste, and maintain moisture in wooden boxes. Their enthusiasm and commitment to sustainability are truly inspiring! 🌱📸

Our brilliant interns from the Faculty of Social Work () brought Savitri to life with a creative replica of the farm. Watch attention to details including design elements like the gate, amphitheater, and canopy.

Get ready for an evening of enchanted Indian classical music .urbanforest by ✨

Soumalya Sareswari, 32, has been practicing Sarod since childhood under pt. Alok Lahiri and his son, Shri. Abhisek Lahiri. He served in the ** Indian Naval Central Band ***in Mumbai for six years, playing Oboe and Bass Trombone, and completed his service in January 2016. Since then, he has focused solely on his Sarod career.

Raised in the 'Maihar' Gharana tradition of Indian Classical Music, Soumalya was also exposed to Western classical music during his naval service. He has performed across India, including at 'Bits Pilani Rajasthan,' 'TedX,' and in cities like Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, and Delhi. Currently based in Hyderabad, he is part of the 'Antariksh Sanchar' project by Red Bull. Soumalya has also contributed background scores for Bengali, Telugu, and Tamil films.
