Today morning in Thanjavur, we have rescued a wounded cow and calf from going to the butcher shop and saved them from being slaughtered over phone itself speaking to the butcher. We have already taken custody of the cow and her calf. The butcher demanded Rs. 10,000/- to let them free but with the help of local police, we saved the cow and calf without paying single cent. The place from where the cow is right now, about 5th or 6th house stays a boy named Prabhu who says himself to be a great animal lover and owning a cow lifting machine. He is portraying himself that he is saviour of cows and having 5 to 6 cows in his house itself. The person who is helping me to save this wounded cow and calf approached Prabhu and asked him for help by lending the cow lifting machine for some time but with a cold heart without conscience he flatly rejected to offer the machine to us to save the animal and he is also saying that he will never help any animal in distress. I am greatly hurt by the words he used and wanted to talk to him over phone and trying to reach him but he is not lifting his phone at all. If he is hater of animals why should he portray himself as a great animal lover and cheat people with his cheap actions. He tells himself to be having a great passion for animals but the way he is behaving does not show it. These type of people are very harmful for our society. Because of his attitude, he will never be loved by any living beings or animals and also god will never save him.
