Early Zionists including Ben Gurion wanted to emphasise the Jewishness of the Palestinian population to form a cultural bridge with their hosts, but quickly dropped this approach once it became apparent that knowledge of the pre-existence of an actual Jewish nation in the Levant would make the Polish/Ukrainian colonial project absurdly redundant. Attention was shifted to denying the existence of the Palestinian people altogether even as they were being slowly suffocated by the World's worst immigrants. Thus were born the narratives of an empty desolate land, of the Arabs being only immigrant labour for the settlers, of Palestine being invented in 1960 and Yasser Arafat being an Egyptian and other such nonsense; it's a wonder how the same people who ask the World to criminalise Holocaust denial commit the most hateful and callous revisionism in justification of their crimes. Everything the European imperialists went on to do subsequently to Palestine, they did knowing the Jewish identity of their victims, and one can't help but wonder if there isn't an element of jealousy behind all the venom from the mixed-blooded foreign interlopers. Don't let the colonisers cry anti-semitism ever again.

A great failure of Western Anti-Racism™ is its preferential framing of colour, to the near total exclusion of geography.
