The “ASD Cavalieri Baunei” organises horseback tours and trekking along trails winding their way through the most evocative mountain areas
and down to the sea, ascending on occasions to the high points with panoramic vistas, riding along some of the old mule tracks created by charcoal burners of yesteryear. The horses are watered in rain filled prehistoric pools; we’ll visit evocative limestone caves unchanged by time and pass by Nuragic settlements bearing testimony to a unique past, resting in a picturesque traditional Sardinian shepherd’s hut and enclosure “Barraccu e Corte” which evokes images of ancient pastoral settlements.
