DON’T BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU SEE ON THE INTERNET!

I really don’t have time for sh*t like this, but someone has stolen a photo of Lazzaro from this profile, set up a scam over on TikTok and blocked me. Thank DOG some smart person thought to do an image reverse search and found my original post.

They’ve gone so far as to set up a one-page website using Cardd.co as well as a donation page and t-shirt sale page using stripehq

I have reported everything I have found to all 3 platforms - and have lost an hour of my life doing so. I know I’m not responsible for this, or for anyone who sends these scammers money but I will do what is in my power to stop them - even though I really could do without it, as if doing what I do isn’t already hard and stressful enough. But using dead kittens, come on 😭

Good morning, from Apollo ❤️ he’s eaten a little bit and used his litter box. He’s already stopped producing the sea of mucus he had on Sunday and Monday, and he just generally seems better in himself 🙏

I am really struggling with the loss of Oreo, it truly has hit me as hard as losing one of my “own” cats.

But today the universe sent us a gift.

Yesterday, Ida trapped a female cat for TNR, and usually she’ll transfer them from the cage to a cat box in her garage without a problem. However, this time she had a cage that we don’t usually use and the cat managed to slip out. Thankfully, with the help of her son, they managed to re-trap the cat in one of our usual traps.

Instead of risking her escaping again, she decided to bring her down to me this morning to do the transfer. Everything went smoothly, and as we’re getting ready to leave to take the cat to the health authority to be spayed, one of my local unowned females comes running up to us looking for food. I’ve not been able to catch her yet, and Ida had 2 appointments but only 1 cat so it seemed like fate. I ran to get a cat box and some food to see if she’d let us catch her and she did 🥳

To think that Ida wasn’t supposed to be here if everything had gone well yesterday. We would have “wasted” a spaying appointment (they only give us 24-hour notice of availability so it happens, unfortunately!) and this little mama wouldn’t have been fixed yet! Yesterday was such a crap day, but today has already made things a little brighter ❤️

2 more females fixed and happy ❤️

🌈 I have just had to say goodbye to Oreo. He suffered a FIP relapse and although the treatment worked at the beginning, it had stopped working in the last two weeks and his body was destroyed. He was never the same after the first time he suffered from it. Now he’s not suffering anymore ❤️‍🩹

Goodbye my sweetest, loveliest boy. We will miss you so much 💔

Apollo, 1 of our FeLV cats, is at the vets today. Yesterday, while Ida was doing her rounds of the cats she has in foster, she found him apathetic in his bed. He didn’t get up and run to greet her or talk like he usually does, he was really congested and had a fever. She brought him to me and I started aerosol treatments to try to relieve the congestion a bit in the hopes he would at least eat or drink. Forcing him to take anything is impossible - as sweet and cuddly as he is, he’ll tear your arm off before allowing even syringe-feeding. He’s now at the vets on a drip to rehydrate him and having blood taken for tests. Treating him is going to be tricky because he’s not eating due to the heavy congestion, so hiding meds in his food is not an option. We’re going to start antibiotics via injection, along with aerosol treatments to try and get the infection to a point where he gets his appetite back so then we can sneak stronger antibiotics into his food.

If you can help us cover our recent vet bills for Mary Shelley and now Apollo, you can donate via https://gofund.me/4b278a8e thank you 🙏

We just said goodbye to Patata. She had over 3 months of good food and love - 3 months that nobody believed she’d have. How she was still alive is nothing short of a miracle, but this morning she didn’t get up to eat, after doing nothing but eating 4 times a day for the last 3 months 💔 it was time. Goodbye lovely girl 🌈

Thank you so much to the people who have donated towards Mary Shelley’s vet bills 🙏 we got her blood test results back yesterday and “they’re not terrible considering her condition”. We’re still waiting on the results of the biopsy of the sample taken from the mass to find out what it is though.

If you can spare 5€/£/$/ this Friday to donate towards Mary Shelley’s vet bills it would be very much appreciated ❤️ with over 8000 followers across Meta social media, we just need 84 of you, 1.05% of followers, to donate 5€ and Mary Shelley’s first stage of care will be covered 🙏
