Betulla, Minerva & Co. Betulla and Minerva are two adorable puppies of Maremma-Abruzzi Sheepdog. Betulla e Minerva sono due deliziose cucciole di Pastore Maremmano-Abruzzese.

Betulla and Minerva are two lovely puppies of Maremma-Abruzzi Sheepdog who live in the mountains of the central Italy along with a big white bitch, other four little dogs, a small flock of cashmere goats and three hens. Their full name is "Betulla del Velino Sirente" and "Minerva di Arajani" and they are the little princesses of a small, secret realm made of pastures, woods and cliffs. At the time

of the creation of this page Betulla and Minerva are nine months old. However, my name is Roberto Palozzi and I want to tell their story and their adventures because, through them, I hope that many other people will discover how unique and extraordinary are the Maremma-Abruzzi Sheepdog. Moreover the stories of Betulla, Minerva & Co. will also be the means to discuss of cinofilia at all levels, farming/zootechnics and zoology/anumal ecology in general. Betulla e Minerva sono due deliziose cucciolone di Cane da Pastore Maremmano-Abruzzese che vivono sulle montagne dell'Italia Centrale insieme a una grande c***a bianca, altri 4 cagnetti, un piccolo gregge di caprette da cashmere e 3 galline. Il loro nome completo è Betulla del Velino Sirente e Minerva di Arajani e sono le principessine di un piccolo reame segreto fatto di pascoli, boschi e dirupi. Al momento della creazione di questa pagina Betulla e Minerva hanno 9 mesi di vita. Io invece mi chiamo Roberto Palozzi e voglio raccontarvi la loro storia e le loro avventure perchè, per mezzo di esse, spero di far scoprire a tante altre persone quanto unici e straordinari siano i Cani da Pastore Maremmano-Abruzzesi. E le storie di Betulla, Minerva & Co. saranna anche il mezzo per parlare di cinofilia a tutti i livelli, di allevamento/zootecnia e di zoologia in generale.

Paradis, 21 month old, is Junior World Champion, Junior International Champion, Croatian Champion of Beauty, multi BOB and Crufts qualified.
The first thing she did when she returned to the Realm, after attending several dog shows, was to join her father Reate in controlling the property for a while and then follow the trail of the wild boars.
This is how this multiple dog show champion returned home... 😁😅😒
"Look at me Dad! I'm so beautiful and charmy". 😘

Paradis, 21 mesi di età, è Giovane Campionessa del Mondo, Giovane Campionessa internazionale, Campionessa Croata di Bellezza, multi BOB e qualificata per il Crufts.
La prima cosa che ha fatto quando è tornata nel Reame, dopo aver partecipato a varie esposizioni canine, è stata quella di accompagnare per un po' suo padre Reate nel controllo della proprietà, per poi seguire la traccia dei cinghiali.
Ecco come è tornata a casa questa pluri-campionessa di esposizioni canine... 😁😅😒

Reate has returned to his Realm after the hardships of the dog shows.
As soon as he got out of the car, after a very long trip, he started patrolling his territory, as if he had left something unfinished that absolutely needed to be completed.
He was gone all yesterday afternoon and night.
Only this morning, around 11:30, did he decide he could go home and receive his cuddle rations. ❤❤❤
And we were all left watching him with our mouths open...
Reate is proving to be a true leader, in the deepest sense of the term.
Many warm wishes for a MERRY CHRISTMAS to everyone from Reate and the Realm of "Betulla, Minerva & Co." 🎅☃️🎁

Reate è tornato nel sue Reame dopo le fatiche delle esposizioni. Appena sceso dalla macchina, dopo un viaggio piuttosto lungo, è partito a pattugliare il suo territorio, come se avesse lasciato qualcosa in sospeso che andava assolutamente portato a termine.
E' stato via tutto il pomeriggio e la notte di ieri. Solo
stamattina, verso le 11:30, ha deciso che poteva tornare a casa e ricevere le sue razioni di coccole. ❤❤❤
E tutti noi siamo rimasti a guardarlo a bocca aperta...
Reate sta dimostrando di essere un vero leader, nell'accezione più profonda del termine.

Father and daughter. Reate and Paradis by "I Cani di Varrone".
With their victories in the "Zagreb Winter Classic 2024" (3 days of dog shows) both our dogs graduated "Croatian Beauty Champions" and qualified for the CRUFTS 2025! 🥰🥂🏵🏵
For Paradis it was a repeat because, as a Junior World Champion, she was already qualified for the CRUFTS.
At less than 20 months of age, Paradis has already achieved the 3rd important result of her exhibition career: 1) Junior World Champion; 2) Junior International Champion; 3) Croatian Champion of Beauty. 😍
Her father, Reate, unfortunately a son of the Covid era, risked completely losing his career in dog shows.
Instead, after only 4 International Dog Shows, he already competes at the highest levels, has won his first title and we still are waiting for his winter coat to reach its maximum splendor... 😏
If it hadn't been for Paolo Malasoma, their handler but above all their first admirer and admirer, Reate and perhaps also Paradis would never have participated in dog shows. 🙏💓

Con le loro vittorie nella "Zagreb Winter Classic 2024" (3 giorni di esposizioni canine) entrambi i nostri cani si sono laureati "Campioni Croati di Bellezza" e hanno centrato la qualificazione per il CRUFTS 2025! 🥰🥂🏵🏵
Per Paradis si è trattato di una ripetizione perché, in quanto Giovane Campionessa del Mondo, era già qualificata per il CRUFTS.
A neanche 20 mesi di età, Paradis ha già centrato il 3° risultato importante della sua carriera espositiva: 1) Giovane Campionessa del Mondo; 2) Giovane Campionessa internazionale; 3) Campionessa Croata di Bellezza. 😍
Suo padre, Reate, purtroppo figlio dell'era del Covid..., ha rischiato di perdere completamente la sua carriera nelle esposizione canine.
Invece, dopo solo 4 Esposizioni Internazionale, compete già ai più alti livelli, ha vinto il suo primo titolo e stiamo ancora aspettando che il suo manto invernale raggiunga il massimo splendore... 😏
Se non fosse stato per Paolo Malasoma, loro handler ma soprattutto loro primo ammiratore ed estimatore, Reate e forse anche Paradis non avrebbero mai partecipato alle esposizioni canine. 🙏💓

Last weekend little Paradis made her debut among adults at the Grosseto International Dog Show and to accompany her - for the first time ever in the ring!!! - his father Reate by "I Cani di Varrone - Varro's Dogs" was also there.
Our young world champion Paradis won her first CACIB (1st EXCELLENT - she's been so good! ❤) but had to "settle" for the title of BOS (Best Opposite S*x) because Reate not only won between males (1st EXCELLENT and CACIB), but he also gained the BOB (Best of Breed).
But there's more! Reate was then short-selected in the Italian Breeds Best in Show. 😍❤
For Paradis' father it was not only the first time he attended a dog show but it was actually his first trip ever away from the Realm of "Betulla, Minerva & Co".
All this thanks to Paolo Malasoma who, once again, against Roberto's hesitations, decided to take Reate with him after observing him for no more than 5 minutes. And once again, after only a week of training, he led him to move perfectly in an International Dog Show.
Literally from the pasture to the ring! 😁🏵🍾
BRAVOOO!!! 👏👏👏

Lo scorso fine settimana la piccola Paradis ha fatto il suo debutto tra gli adulti all'Esposizione Canina Internazionale di Grosseto e ad accompagnarla - per la prima volta in assoluto sul ring!!! - c'era anche suo padre Reate de "I Cani di Varrone.
La nostra giovane campioncina del mondo Paradis ha vinto il suo primo CACIB (1° ECCELLENTE - è stata così brava! ❤) ma si è dovuta "accontentare" del titolo di BOS (Best Opposite S*x) perché Reate non solo ha vinto nei maschi (1° ECCELLENTE e CACIB), ma ha conquistato anche il BOB (Best of Breed).
Ma c'è di più! Reate, poi, è stato short-selected nel Best in Show delle razze italiane. 😍❤🥰
Per il papà di Paradis non è stata solo la prima volta in cui abbia partecipato a un'esposizione ma, addirittura, si è trattato del suo primo viaggio in assoluto lontano dal Reame di "Betulla, Minerva & Co".
Tutto questo grazie a Paolo Malasoma che, ancora una volta, contro le titubanze di Roberto ha deciso di prendere con sé Reate dopo averlo osservato per non più di 5 minuti. E ancora una volta, dopo solo una settimana di allenamento, l'ha portato a muoversi perfettamente in una Esposizione Canina Internazionale.
Letteralmente dal pascolo al ring! 😁🏵🍾

Our "Paradis dei Cani di Varrone", masterfully handled by Paolo Malasoma, won the two International Dog Shows of Lucerne (Switzerland) last week.
And thanks to these results she added the title of "International Junior Beauty Champion" to that of "Junior World Champion" (WDS Zagreb 2024)! 💥💥💥
So happy and proud!!! 🥰🥰🥰

La nostra "Paradis dei Cani di Varrone", condotta magistralmente da Paolo Malasoma, ha vinto la scorsa settimana le due Esposizioni Canine Internazionali di Lucerna (Svizzera).
E grazie a questi risultati aggiunge ail titolo di "Giovane Campionessa Internazionale di Bellezza" a quello di "Giovane Campionessa del Mondo" (WDS Zagreb 2024)! 💥💥💥

This time we weren't very timely in announcing the new happy event, but a few days ago mother Eigyr gave birth to two girls and a boy, super beautiful!!! 😍
Guess who is the happiest of all? 🥰🥰🥰
P.S.
Mother Eigyr has been very good and with all the milk she has, the three newborns are growing visibly.
They are giants! 🤩

Questa volta non siamo stati molto tempestivi nell'annunciare il nuovo lieto evento, ma qualche giorno fa mamma Eigyr ha dato alla luce due femminucce e un maschietto, super bellissimi!!! 😍
Indovinate un po' chi è la più felice di tutti? 🥰🥰🥰

Mamma Eigyr è stata bravissima e con tutto il latte che ha, i tre neonati stanno crescendo a vista d'occhio.
