Well it’s no secret that we’ve been very quiet over the past few months on our social media. This industry is tough no matter where you’re located and we’ve felt everything at full force lately. That being said, I’d still like to give this our best effort and see if we can take Tails & Scales to the next level if the interest is there still!

I’m currently considering our best options in regard to stock that we can offer, I’m contemplating setting up a couple of breeding groups if the demand is high enough.

Those of you who are interested, please help us out and let me know if you’d be capable of and enthusiastic about welcoming a Leopard Gecko or Lesser Tenrec into your family!

Definitely a species we would recommend to someone with some prior experience ideally, for the right person she will continue to be an incredibly rewarding lizard to work with!

Minimum sized vivarium required will be 4x2x4 within the next year or so, bigger is always better though!

Our newest litter of Dumbo Rats have been born, they will be available in 4 weeks time and will all find new homes very quickly, as did the previous two litters!

We’re now taking payments to reserve pairs or trios if you’d like the opportunity to keep these rewarding pets. This will be the last litter we make available so act fast if you’d like some of your own 😁

This species is a joy to keep and absolutely beautiful, their care is very similar to that of the very popular Crested Gecko and in our opinion they are one of the very best pet lizards 😁

We have a beautiful group of 6 Button Quail available, these are a rarer colour of this species to see. Already amazing layers and have produced a handful of amazing, stunning chicks for us in the short time we’ve had them!

When it comes to running a business… we are winging it 😂 but we do know how to be reptile keepers and we like to think we are good at it… so our priority is ensure you’re the best keepers you can be too. It’s our responsibility to ensure you have all the information you need and to help create the best future keepers possible!
