Thanks to .ts we now have this gorgeous adult female Psalmopoeus Reduncus (Costa Rican Orangemouth Tarantula) here. The end goal is to keep a select handful of species in beautiful display style enclosures for you to all see when you visit us and Psalmopoeus are by far my favourites to keep and observe 😁
This gorgeous Northern Pine Snake is heading to their new home today! They’re bound to make their new family very happy, he’s such a curious and friendly little Snake.
Such a great experience seeing such a beautiful animal go through their Ontogenetic Colour Change so fast, absolutely obsessed with Bumblebee! 😍

Another great socialisation session with our 2 pretty Pythons! Short positive interactions like this are key to build any Animal’s trust and confidence overtime to ensure they become amazing ambassadors, it can take time but the time and effort is well worth it ☺️

Well this is a first without a doubt! I’ve decided to offer up a pair of Chinese Beauty Snakes, a male Calico and female Albino with some interesting genetics hidden in them. This would give a very lucky person the opportunity to work with a seldom seen and very under appreciated species, here in Jersey! To my knowledge I’m currently the only person keeping them here and I’d like that to change as they’re an absolutely phenomenal pet species, extremely docile, curious, active and truly beautiful. The unique colour morphs and overall potential with this project is quite exciting! If you’re interested in these little stunners please don’t hesitate to contact us for more information ☺️
For those of you dedicated hobbyists on the island I’ve got an amazing opportunity for you to start a small breeding project with a species which makes an amazing pet for people of all experience levels due to their docile nature, average size and striking colouration. Ultimately the perfect combination for an ideal breeding project and if they do go elsewhere I’ll be tempted to buy a hatchling in the future as they make incredible ambassadors too! If you’re interested in finding out more about them please let me know. It’s a 1.2 group and rarely available nowadays, I’ll be sad to see them go but I feel someone else may be better suited at this time with everything else we have going on here 😁🐍

Frilled Dragons hold a very special place in my heart for many reasons and being able to have one here to share with you all is very special. They’re such a unique species with interesting adaptations and they become very friendly and tolerant of interaction which makes for a great ambassador animal!
She has already met many people and is a very popular animal during tours and experiences for good reason.

I moved some animals around and placed Vespa into a 6x6x6 habitat for the remainder of her active season and after not seeing her much at all for 2 weeks she’s finally made a proper appearance today! Hopefully she’s settling in and will come out more now 😁😍

(Chinese King Rat Snake)
Look at our gorgeous male Eastern Collared Lizard, Caesar. This species has become a favourite here and for many reasons, some natural sunlight really intensifies his colouration into something quite spectacular! Hopefully warmer weather will come again soon so they can get back outside and benefit from unfiltered sunlight and natural conditions ☺️

This species reaches a fairly average length for many pet Snakes of around 6ft but is a thick bodied species and quite strong for a colubrid!

I wasn’t holding out much hope for a Taiwanese Beauty Snake clutch this year but it’s happening. First egg doesn’t look the best but we’ll see how the others look soon!
Halo our gorgeous Papuan Carpet Python just shed and isn’t he looking spectacular?! 😍
He’s still got a way to go before he will be able to meet people but continuing with our current socialisation process I’m sure he’ll be ready in the near future and an absolutely fantastic ambassador for years to come!
The pride and joy of my Snake collection, Bumblebee. This boy has so much potential, I can’t wait to see him in a 16ft outdoor enclosure when he’s pushing 8ft long and still as sweet as can be!
Species: Elaphe Carinata
After some consideration I have decided to offer one of our male Viellards Chameleon Geckos, one of them came to us as a hopeful female but we actually have two males. These Geckos come from New Caledonia like our Chahouas and Cresteds too and their care is quite similar in regards to temperature, humidity and set up! The only difference is their small size, they are really tiny Geckos but extremely bold and confident which is something we really enjoy about them. Again these 2 individuals are the only ones in the Channel Islands currently so it would be a great chance to keep something unique!
We have one lovely Calico Chinese Beauty Snake available. I have the only group of this species here in the Channel Islands so this would be quite a unique opportunity to acquire a species that no one else has. They’re absolutely gorgeous, males like this one typically reach a maximum length of 4ft making them a perfect pet Snake and you have the added benefit of them being semi arboreal so you will very often see them out and about draped across branches and they really are a sight to behold! As adults this colour morph is white with beautiful orange speckles. This Snake came to us by accident hence why we are rehoming him, he has some spinal kinks from incubation and therefore he will be free to the right home if purchased with one of our 4ft Vivarium Kits.
Atlas is a gorgeous and extremely friendly male Common Boa that came to us at the end of 2023 for rehoming. I won’t be disappointed if he doesn’t sell as he will continue to be a wonderful ambassador for his species, but I’m putting feelers out there to see if he can find a forever home with someone that understand their requirements and potential. He’s a rather small Boa at 5ft and 5 years old and I predict that he probably won’t grow much more so he’s an ideal size for a variety of different people that have some experience keeping Snakes!

I’m surprised this beautiful lizard hasn’t found his forever home yet! Emerald Swifts are a small, very active, diurnal species and are very entertaining to observe in a naturally setup environment. They’re insectivorous, prefer to be left alone like Basilisks and will fully utilise as much space as you provide. If you’re interested in owning a beautiful display species that will thrive in a live planted vivarium then look no further!
We still have a few beautiful Axolotls ready to go, this group came to us several months ago now and have been doing very well, they were originally bred by us! If you would like a really unique aquatic pet this species may be right for you!

One of the gorgeous Texas Rat Snakes we currently have available is out sunning himself this afternoon. As youngsters they can be quite shy and feisty as a result but generally they become extremely tame as they reach adulthood. One of the more popular pet Snakes without a doubt and for good reason!

Ms. Paisley our 13 year old rescue Chinese Softshell Turtle enjoying her newly set up outdoor accommodation for the rest of the year! Still lots of decor and aquatic plants to add but it’s nice to see her curiously exploring her new space until her permanent pond is built next year 😁

I never formally introduced these Gorgeous little Geckos. These are Viellard’s Chameleon Geckos, a fascinating small species that hails from New Caledonia, like our Chahoua Geckos. They share a genus “Eurydactylodes” with several other very similar geckos with subtle differences! As you can see here they are very bold, curious and unafraid of people and for such a small lizard that is quite a rare occurrence. We’re hopeful that the two we recently acquired will turn out to be a compatible pair as we think they deserve more appreciation and definitely make wonderful pets for just about anyone really, you can create a beautiful mini ecosystem for a lizard like this and they’re such a joy to observe!

The definition of a passion project, these Stuart’s Milk Snakes are just wonderful and utterly beautiful 😍 They’ll hopefully be producing some of the first Wild Type offspring in UK for quite some time this year too!

Axolotls can be a very rewarding, personable amphibian species to keep on display in your home. They are a fully aquatic species of Salamander which do not undergo the process of Metamorphosis, interestingly they utilise both gills and lungs to breathe. If you are looking for an obscure and equally fascinating species look no further! They thrive in cold water below 20 Celsius and if the water parameters within their aquarium are suitable they can be very hardy and easy to care for.
