If you think your cat has a cold, you might be noticing some combination of the following:
1.Sneezing
2.Noisy breathing
3.Watery or red eyes
4.Conjunctivitis
5.Nasal discharge (a runny or snotty nose)
6.Fever
7.Lethargy (increased time spent sleeping, and reduced activity levels)
8.Reduced appetite
9.Coughing
Of course if you noticed all this symptoms, you shouldn’t treat it by yourself. You should contact the vet immediately. Is it contagious? The often question that we hear. The answer is :no! However, cat flu is very contagious between cats. So, if your cat has cold symptoms, you need to make sure they are kept inside the home, and kept away from other cats.
