Noora for adoption!
“No one wants me because I am blind, they don't know that I am fully independent like any other cat. Not just that! I am also dominant with some female cats and I hunted two flies until now. I am very smart and respond to my name “Noora” and I love to be held and never resist. Life with me will be a life in awe of my abilities!”
Personality: Noora is very friendly with humans, she loves to cuddle and is easy to be held. She’d stretch her arms up when you try to hold her. Curious, and likes roaming around, maybe because she can’t see, this keeps her stimulated. Dominant with some female cats, scared of others, good with some males as long as they are not scared. Her favorite game is a crumpled piece of paper to kick around, and she has a ball that makes a sound too, which she likes to play with.
Story: She was in a home and got dumped near garbage containers in Abdoun in July 2022 – she was around 5 months old (now 1 year and 5 months). A caretaker of community cats in the area picked her up, as obviously she cannot survive on the street.
Health: vaccinated and spayed, blind but fully independent. Her eyes are teary, but she cleans them on her own. Possibly once or twice a year, eye drops could be needed if her eyes shed more tears.
Best home: either as the only pet but rich with stimulations (smells, sounds, secured windows or balconies, toys with sound) or with another cat, preferably a male, who’s not scared otherwise she’d be dominant with him. Has not been tested with dogs, but most probably she’d be fine, since she doesn’t see, as long as the dog is friendly with cats and gentle.
Note: if you want to adopt Noora with another cat (if for example you spend most of your time away from home) I have other cats for adoption that she gets along with.
Conditions: Crazy cat person to love her unconditionally! Recognize that a cat is a 15–20-year long responsibility, commit to treating the cat humanely, returning the cat to me if things don’t work, and signing a contract stating that.

Noora is a Siamese-mix blind kitten, 8 months, spayed and very independent. She was dumped on the street next to a friend’s house, he feeds street cats. She was 5 months old and blind. Farhoud (Himalayan mix, male, 10 months, neutered, eartipped). Farhoud was unfortunately bought (not adopted) by an irresponsible family. He was neglected and hurt by the family’s kid. He was 4 months. He was left outdoors and got bitten by another cat, I took him in. He’s very sweet, moderate energy and playful & he loves kids. WHEN Need To Start ANTIPARASITIC Treatment?

🪱 Internal parasites: the recommended schedule for deworming kittens and puppies from 6 weeks of age and repeat deworming at 8, 10 and 12 weeks age. Nursing mom should be treated also.

WHAT is IV fluids and WHY it needs for a cats?

Intravenous (IV) fluids are a common way to administer fluids to cats at the veterinary hospital. They are commonly used for any cause of dehydration and for conditions such as kidney disease, urinary obstruction, vomiting and diarrhea.

Fluids are critical to cats. A loss of just 10 percent of body fluid can cause your cat severe illness. It is most important, therefore, that you replace the lost fluids and correct dehydration.

Fluids can be given in a number of ways. In a hospital setting, giving fluids through an intravenous catheter is the most common method.

Your cat will stay at the veterinary clinic when receiving IV fluids. Intravenous fluids gives cats immediate treatment for dehydration and the amount can be easily changed.

To administer IV fluids, the veterinarian or veterinary staff generally clips the hair over the vein to be used and disinfects the skin. A sterile intravenous catheter is inserted. The catheter itself is a flexible soft plastic that stays in the vein. The fluids line is then connected to the catheter through which fluids are administered. The catheter is then taped and bandaged to the leg.

So, IV fluids it is important part of cat's treatment. Do not scare of it and let your cat be healthy fast 🐱

Summer time not easier for cats because fresh clean water not always available and food spoils faster. If you are taking care about stray cats around your home or at any other place be sure that they have enough water per day and put in trash all homemade and wet food which they didn't eat.
Do not leave food and water under the sun. Try to find shadow.
Remember that food with spices, salt and fried food can harm cats/dogs health.
