2005（平成17）年度 環境省水環境部長表彰。
2006（平成18）年度より3ヶ年間にわたり、「農村自然環境再生活動 高度化事業（農水省）」のモデル地区に指定され、(社)農村環境整備センターの補助により魚道やビオトープなどを設置。
2011（平成21)年 タゲリ米発売10周年を迎える。
2012（平成24）年 関東水と緑のネットワーク拠点に選ばれる。
2014（平成26）年2月 平成25年度かながわ地球環境賞（神奈川県など主催）。
2014（平成26）年6月 平成26年度環境保全功労者 環境大臣表彰（環境省）。
2016（平成28）年 田んぼの生物多様性向上10年プロジェクト（にじゅうまるプロジェクト）参加（国際自然保護連合日本委員会IUCN-J）。
2017（平成29）年9月 国連生物多様性10年日
本委員会（UNDB-J）による連携事業の認定。
2025（令和７）年４月 「湘南タゲリ米プロジェクト」終了、新体制による活動開始

To conserve existing local paddy fields where lapwings come to stay in every winter, we liaise with farmers and sell their rice directly to consumers who care about conservation. Our project of ‘Shonan Tageri-mai’ (Rice to save Lapwings in Shonan) started in 2000, and now has become one of leading brands of wildlife-friendly rice in Japan. At the bottom of field drainage, we set up fishways that enable fish to go up to the paddy field. We also developed a small biotope to enhance habitat for aquatic life as well as birds. Though it was our first attempt to create biotopes, it seems successful, since it attracts many birds such as ducks, little egrets, grey herons, and even kingfishers have been observed there!
