水曜日にコト日本語学校さんで墨絵クラスをやりました。猛暑だったり東西線のトラブルなどを乗り越えたくさんの方においでいただきました。

次回おえかきは新宿スペースゼロのこどもアート。8/6にお会いしましょう。

I had a special sumi-e class at Coto Language Academy on July 31st Wednesday. Though it was incredibly hot and crazy humiliation, a lot of people came out to join it.

Actually, there will be a sumi-e class for children at Space Zero Hall in Shinjuku on August 6th. Let's see you at tge time!

今もなお、今日も、アトリエでは震災のお話をしています。実際の体験と伝えると皆さま驚きます。

というわけで、記念でトミジさんちで飲みながらお話を聞きながら描いたスケッチ初公開。貴重です。

So far, the picture book "Tomiji's Ocean", which is told about Tsunami of The Great East Japan Earthquake, was sold over 100 books. So I show the precious sketch for it here made at Tomiji's house on 2013.

墨絵画家本多豊國の墨絵の展示。墨絵体験。 Wonder Sumi-e Station!

Sumi-e is a traditional painting in Japan. Besides, it’s not only traditional but new! The gallery exhibits sumi-e of sumi-e master Toyokuni Honda. And a lot of gifts and souvenirs of Japan here. It’s located in the center of Tokyo, near imperial palace, so there are other a lot of attractive places near the gallery. Especially, when the season of cherry blossoms blooming, many many viewpoints a lot around the gallery.

You can take a sumi-e class Experience here. It’s for all ages, kid and family friendly, but actually, it’s about full-scale sumi-e class in English. That’s why you would get satisfied, if you were any artists. You could touch a cultural heart and feeling in this country, very easily.
