「呼吸がおかしい気がするので

重度の心不全が見つかりました。

飼い主さまの「観察」と「念の為」が繋いだ命です。

日中でも涼しい日も出てきて
夏が終わりに近づいていますね。

花壇にお水をあげながら
明るくなるのが遅くなったなー
って思っています。

さて
朝晩はエアコンを切って
網戸にされているお家も多いかと思います。

そこで気をつけていただきたいのが
ワンちゃん・猫ちゃんによる網戸突破の脱走事故です。

網戸を器用に開けてベランダに出た後
高層階から落下してしまった猫ちゃん

網戸がしっかり閉まっておらず
脱走して行方不明になってしまったワンちゃん

これらは実際に私が経験した症例です。

さらに
私が小学生の時に飼っていた2匹の猫は
近所の野良猫が庭に来たときに
2匹が連携して網戸を突き破って
飛び出してしまいました。

幸いすぐに気づいた家族が捕まえたので
大事には至りませんでしたが
捕まえる際に噛まれてしまい怪我をしました。

普段おとなしいおっとりした子だったので
本当にビックリした出来事でした。

先述の
高層階から落下した猫ちゃんは
救命する事ができず
残念ながら亡くなってしまいました。
まだ1歳にならない若い猫ちゃんで
ご家族の涙に私も心を傷めました。

脱走して行方不明になっていたワンちゃんは
全身傷だらけで鼻血が出た状態で保護されてきました。
大きな骨折はなかったものの
血液検査で交通事故を示唆するような結果が出たので
おそらく交通事故に遭ったのでは？
という結論になりました。

これからどんどん涼しくなってくると
エアコンを切って日中も網戸で過ごされる日が
増えてくると思います。

ワンちゃん・猫ちゃんがいるお家は
人以外が網戸を開けられないように
ロックをかけたり
網戸を開け閉めした際は
しっかり閉まっていることを確認して
ワンちゃん・猫ちゃんが脱走していないか
お家の中にいるかどうかの確認をお願いします。

もうこんな事故で命を落とす
ワンちゃん・猫ちゃん
そして突然の事故で悲しむご家族を
見たくありません。
