久々の投稿です🐶
本日はとっても楽しみにしていたマンツーマンレッスンの日でした🥹👏❤️🔥
Crufts展（イギリス最大の犬のドッグショー）でご縁があり英国のビションの世界で活躍するリッチさんにお願いをして準備からトリミング、ハンドリングまでとてもわかりやすく教えていただきました☺️
オーストラリア時代の友人がきっかけで、こういった素敵な形でまたご縁が繋がっていき、トップレベルで活躍している方から教えていただき、モデル犬はショーで好成績を残した子をトリミングさせてもらえる機会だなんて…本当に貴重で、贅沢な時間でした🥹🙏💖触れるだけでも光栄だったので失敗したらどうしようと緊張で思うように切れなかったのが悔やまれる🥹リッチさん、とても優しい方でした🥹
骨格構成や質の良いコートはトリミングのより良い形を理解することにとても役に立ちます。
トリミングをする上でやっぱりスタンダードは切り離せないと思っているし、スタンダードを深く理解した上での表現はすごく意味のある形になると思っています。
ビションは特にその国やその人によって解釈や表現方法が違い、近年でかなり洗練されて来たと考えています。イギリスでの頭部のベル型から丸になったお話、鳥肌ものでした❤️🔥
もちろんスタンダードが全て、ショーカットが全てだと思ってはいないですが、ベースとして必要な事だと思っています。発展する為には基礎が必要。
そしてビションやっぱり楽しい〜🥺💗まだ何頭かお家にいたんですがもう本当に可愛かった💖
なかなか思うように好きにトリミングに打ち込めないのですが、今しかできないようなことをできたら良いなと思っています😌
Today became a truly special day in my grooming journey💖✂️
After meeting at Crufts this year, I asked for a one-on-one lesson.
And today was the day I had been so looking forward to😍
From the prep stage, through the trimming, and even to handling as if in a real show, I was taught every single step clearly, thoroughly, and with such care.
(Even though English isn’t my first language, everything was so easy to understand🥹🙏)
I had brought along a few questions that I had been thinking about at home, and the answers were explained in such a way that everything made perfect sense!
Although I’ve had some show experience, I’m still much closer to a normal pet groomer.
But Rich is a true professional🤩 Incredible groomer with the skills, knowledge, and experience built from years of working on the world-class stage!
As a groomer living on a small island country like Japan, being able to witness world-class grooming firsthand is something I’m truly grateful for.
I also believe it’s so important for us as groomers to keep updating our skills and sensibilities.
