She can’t be rehomed
We can barely groom her
She is always so anxious

There are breeders out there
Some recent ones
They don’t even know if their dogs are related
Please don’t be in a rush to get puppies
Keeping animals safe and out of shelters will take people asking questions and saying no to people who have puppies.

Have you heard about the golden doodles 200 just rescued from a hoarding situation . Golden doodles are not purebred dogs but there is a demand for them

Ensure the person you are getting a puppy from knows their stuff and doesn’t Just have $$$$$ going .

Don’t be in a rush to get a puppy
Never be in a rush

BUYER BEWARE!!
I have been the head of the japanese spitz rescue for the USA for many years. I have had many dogs surrendered to me after their owners paid $1000s for a puppy. All of these puppies have come from ONE breeder. It is exhausting to clean up after this person who is very neglectful. I was just 'given' another 10 month old female, owners do not want her back, she is scared of lights, bites, very primal, bares her teeth. The poor puppy. The only way this person can be stopped is if people stop buying puppies from her and start doing due diligence. Don't be quick to send money, ask questions, ask for references-- Don't just talk to one of us talk to ALL of us who breed. Don't be inpatient to get a puppy-- this is a life changing decision and expands your family-- IT needs to be a well thought out and planned-- waiting six months is what you do to get a puppy that is healthy and socialized. Ask for pictures of the parents, ask to talk to other breeders who support one another-- DON'T JUST SEND MONEY!! This poor puppy that came to me ;( she is scared.
Who is this person? I'll give you a hint-- they are NOT part of the Japanese Spitz Club, they live in California (and they are not me who lives in Sebastopol, CA).

IMag Japanese Spitz in California would like to announce the arrival of Pierre and Poppy first litter together. They were born on December 31st 2024- 4 boys and 4 girls. This is Pierre first time being a dad! They sure outdid themselves . Mama and puppies are all doing well and growing and thriving !

Hope was born to Sansa and genji- from IMag in California. I thought she wouldn’t make it- I named her Hope because she proved me wrong. She was smaller than her siblings and when her eyes opened she had an obvious deficit.

She was rehomed to the coolest family around . Yesterday I received this grown up picture of her and I asked them to send me a picture of her eyes head on because k thought I was seeing things .

The eye injury is not as significant as anticipated ! It is slightly smaller but wow! She is perfection in every way and keeps giving me HOPE!
