🌍 Today is World Rabies Day! 🦠 Let's unite "All for one, one health for all" 🤝. Here are some facts about rabies:
1️⃣ Rabies is 100% preventable through vaccination.
2️⃣ Every 9 minutes, someone dies from Rabies
3️⃣ 4 out of 10 deaths are children
4️⃣ 99% of human cases result from infected dog bites.
We are reminded to focus more on collaborations 🫱🏿‍🫲🏿, equality and strengthening💪🏿 of health systems🚑.

Rachel Kabue, the lady behind the inspiration of the Nairobi Feline Sanctuary with Brenda Nyambura .
She has been able to sustain the Sanctuary, through thick and thin, sometimes by biting her tongue, while looking nowhere else, but straight ahead. Continue supporting her as funds will go directly to support the cats at the shelter including their medical needs.
