Maggie walks on mostly her two front legs and uses her back legs to kinda hop around or support her weight… AND.. you will think that maybe just maybe , would make her a lazy girl! BUT Noooooo.. Maggie is the fastest rescue dog in the compound, she is such a bully 🤦♀️, and for some reason she is extremely strong.. like this girl can push you down when he walks by you 🤷♀️!
Being a special needs dog, just means she might be limited in small things like jumping on me when she is excited but she has her way of doing that.. she rolls over 😁.. and Maggie is such a happy girl that I am so glad she got a second chance in life and she chose me to be her mummy…
And before you ask, we did try wheels for her but she hated them and was not comfy, she is faster and happier just hopping around.. lol
She also gets a hot water bottle during such crazy cold nights because sometimes her legs just like mine, kinda lock up and she needs a massage or warm compress to help with her muscles .. but Maggie is just a super star and I love her soooo much… 🤫 don’t tell the other rescues hehehe!
Her disability is not an inability to live a LONG and happy life…
