🐶 Justice for the Kamakis 32 – Help us end puppy mills! 🚨
Last year, we rescued 32 dogs from a cruel puppy mill on the outskirts of Nairobi. They were starving, sick, and locked in tiny cages. Some were too weak to survive—six have since died.
A suspect has been arrested and charged, but justice takes time. We are pushing for full prosecution while caring for the surviving dogs. They still need medical and emotional healing, and we need your support for their recovery and legal fees.

Your response to our fire appeal has been extraordinary. We are grateful, inspired, humbled by the expressions of support, not only in terms of donations and materials, but messages of encouragement, volunteer assistance and ongoing mobiilsation initiatives.
The estimated costs to repair and furnish affected buildings, and then replace kennels and stables with facilities of acceptable standards is likely to be over KES10 million and thanks to your support, we are on the way to being able to get that work done.

We've had a tough start to 2025. A fire at the KSPCA in Nairobi has caused extensive damage.
Quick action by staff and first responders meant that no lives were lost and that the animals that fled the scene have been recovered. We are so grateful to Steadfast Security, Ultimate Security, Nairobi County Fire Service and the Karen Plains police for their interventions, which certainly prevented loss of life and worse damage to property.
We are left short on shelter, fodder and basic care necessities, and we need building supplies to replace lost structures. Please help if you can by donating items or through MPesa paybill 681727 account fire or through www.kspca.or.ke.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by relevant authorities.
