Canine Travel: One of the requirements when taking your canine fried to South Africa and other selected countries is a negative test for the following parasites;
Brucella canis, Babesia gibsoni, Dirofilaria immitis , Leishmaniasis, Trypanosoma evansi.

Eye injury - Buddy here presented with a corneal ulcer comes as a result of injury to the eye.

It's paramount that you don't put an eye drop and seek veterinary assistant for some of them may excerbate the situation.

However you can pick a cotton wool with warm clean water and wipe the eye of any dirt.

At the vet a special dye will be administered on the eye to check for an ulcer and this will inform on the type of medication to use.

🥴 scratching in dogs.
It's normal for dogs to itch and scratch but if it becomes intense and non stop itching there is a problem.

Just like humans cats are prone to stress and this can lead to health problems.

Signs of stress can include:

⚪Becoming more withdrawn or hiding more than usual.
⚪Becoming less tolerant of people.
⚪Hesitating or becoming reluctant of using the litter tray, going through the cat flap, sitting on your lap eating or drinking less 
⚪Overeating 
⚪Increased anxiety or fear 
⚪Sleep disturbance 
⚪Pacing, circling or restlessness 
⚪Over-grooming 

If you notice any of those make sure the kitty :
⚪Everything they need.
⚪Give them space.
⚪Avoid cat intruders.
⚪Try not to handle them if they are not keen.
⚪Help them handle changes before they happen.

Magnificent Queen who is A 5 year old Queen (Rott) came in for a routine checkup, deworming, vaccination and flea and tick control,after a thorough checkup she has signs of pseudo pregnancy (milky discharge from the mammary glands,clear mucoid discharge from v***a and swollen inguinal MG) and through ultrasound we were in a better position to determine if there is any abnormality in the reproductive system.
